@Owl1 I honestly cringed a bit during the presentation, when they explained the 3D photos. The mere thought of parents being glued to a VR visor during their kids play sessions and birthday parties, recording everything… Being there but not really present in the moment. Sigh. It’s a bit too much.
@Eel@Professor_Plumber I cringed too... That is a way too real thing that will happen... This is the time when you say "stick to your iPhone for photos".

@MarioLover92 I really do like TotK, it's just that RL hit like a train the two weeks before now. I probably got in about 2/5 of my current playtime on the launch weekend. XD On work nights, I'm lucky to get in 0-2 hours usually. It also doesn't help that I'm easily sidetracked by quests, plus I'm trying to do all the shrines and find...Well, not ALL the Koroks, but enough to fully expand Link's pouch space. I've found five Tears as of this writing and am gradually making my way towards the next dungeon...with a slight detour to Kakariko Village first. I enjoy the WarioWare series and liked the Get It Together! demo. It's a fun game, though I admit I'm not as on board with the random character switch gimmick this time around. I have played Super Mario Advance 4, so I believe you when you say how chatty they are. XD
I was into the GBC quite a bit but didn't have a ton of games for it. I'd say the GBA (SP) was when my brother and I really started collecting...what we could anyway. Our collection still wasn't too sizeable compared to some. On Majora's Mask: I'm mostly referring to side quests, but I'm also hinting at some side content like item upgrades, heart pieces, etc.
The meeting was yesterday afternoon and was indeed very informative; I've started putting a list together since go time will be here before I know it. I don't think I'll take much in terms of gaming though; I prefer to pack light, so besides a couple of phone games - I'm seriously debating about downloading all the cases for Layton Brothers: Mystery Room and will likely play Pokemon Go a bit - and potentially my Zelda Game & Watch, I don't plan on taking much. I mostly plan to game and read in my down time since I don't want to miss much while traveling. As for an adapter, already picked one up! They're very easy to find.
Saw the Anna drawing, one of your notifications should be my response.

@Sunsy Ah, shoot. My bad. That normally doesn't happen to me. Ah, that's good you got your phone problem taken care of. I had a similar thing happen to me some years back, I had to get my phone replaced since it started to act like trash. The last thing I remember about my previous phone, it would be in a restart loop, showing my phone carrier logo over and over again. The only way I could turn it off is by removing the battery. I got a new phone which works quite a bit better, and that happens to be my current phone now. As for that 1-2-Switch sequel, I can certainly see the horse guy become a Smash fighter, lol. They've had Wii Fit Trainer for Smash 4 and Smash Ultimate after all. Why wouldn't Nintendo put the horse guy in the next Smash game? lol
I don't think I used it, at the time I thought it was just a regular old wrist strap, lol. If only I knew better, ah well. I used to have the Metroid Prime Hunters demo as well, I don't know where it ended up though. I do have the full game with the rest of my DS games.
Jeez, how rude of her. Why the heck did she care? So I guess it was a place where you'd play arcade games, or was it one of those ride-on things? Either way, that wasn't cool of that lady you mentioned. Something similar happened to me, but it was in school many years back. I used to have a backpack that I'd pull like it was a luggage bag, and my teacher ridiculed me for that because she found it "too childish" to have it pulled, or something along those lines. It wasn't even themed after a children's show or anything, it was just regular. So, in turn, I guess it's also "too kiddy" to pull around luggage bags in places like airports? I dunno. Kind of a weird thing to judge someone about.
That's cool you're getting more into going to movies. I'm still more of a gamer personally, in terms of entertainment, but I do enjoy watching a good movie as well. I do know how stoked you were to see Trolls World Tour in theaters. Wonder what movie I should see next... lately I've been wanting to see Mulan, the Disney animated one from 1998. It's been years since I've seen it, but I do remember liking it.
That sounds like a nightmare, sounds like an older flip phone. Last time I saw a carrier name on the phone itself was on a flip phone sometime before I got my iPhone. Horseman needs to be in Smash, I'm so surprised no one made a joke about it yet. The horse mask is so ridiculous, lol.
Yeah, I learned about it peaking in the manual, and it was rather unique to a different wrist strap at the time. The plastic nub that just stood out and could be adjusted. I didn't use it much, I remember using it in the demo and that was it. I may have tried it with Ridge Racer DS, but my memory is fuzzy on it as I prefer to use the buttons on that one. It was suppose to give "analog" steering IIRC.
Yikes, that sounds bad. I remember kids at my school always used the rolling bags, and no one got told off for doing so. This was high school. I actually still use a character backpack for travel, usually to carry stuff I need whenever I go over to my friends' house. Yes, as you probably guess, Poppy from Trolls is on the bag. It is a weird thing, why exactly is it a big deal if someone is using a bag they prefer using?
Yeah, it's like missing Trolls World Tour and having to watch it at home in 2020 made me appreciate theaters even more. It also makes the Trolls World Tour showing I went to last summer even more special. I recently saw Guardians of the Galaxy 3 with my friend. You know I would suggest the original Trolls, but I would also like to suggest Ferdinand. I saw Ferdinand on Disney+, and loved it, really underrated animated movie. Yes, Mulan is a great choice too, I saw it years ago before Disney+ even existed.
@Sunsy Hey, no problem at all. I haven't been on the forums much either. I've had QUITE a lot going on IRL, ranging from medical issues with friends to things breaking...some of them costing more than I'd like. But I'm still physically healthy...for the most part.
I've actually never used a N64 controller so can't really speak regarding it. Gonna have to take your word on it. I tried all the different control schemes for Super Mario 64 DS and finally settled on the D-pad one, but that was only on a regular DS unit. I do wonder if I would've had a better experience on the 3DS due to the circle pad.
Can't say I've heard of Discovery Zone...at least I don't think so. The airplane experience was on the return trip of my first round trip; we went out to visit some family friends in Utah. I didn't understand how to use those notches used to lock the trays in, and it kept falling when I tried to put it back (snack and drink cart had come through earlier). The "mean lady" as I still mentally call her was angry because she thought I was kicking her seat. I honestly answered I wasn't. After a second complaint, my mom switched seats with me so she'd stop fussing about me. I was roughly 8 at the time.
I really do like that Sound of Silence cover from Trolls World Tour, though I gotta say I do still prefer the cover by Disturbed the best. I do need to watch that movie sometime for the songs alone. I really enjoyed both Sing and Sing 2 for similar reasons. I do hope you and your friend can make those July showings of Trolls World Tour!
Yeah, during that week, mom and I switched cell phone providers and had nothing but trouble with my phone, so we were back and fourth with the old company and the new one getting things sorted out. It was a nightmare since I rely a lot on my phone. I need it for friends or when I'm out of the house and mom needs to reach me.
I would imagine the circle pad would still behave like a D-pad, but making diagonal movement easier.
I guess Discovery Zone must have been a place only in northeast US. I remember it had a big play area similar to Chuck E Cheese, except it was bigger. It also lacked video games IIRC. That sounds terrible.
Yeah, Sound of Silence was in the first movie, and they used it in the trailer to Trolls World Tour. The trailer started out with Poppy singing Sound of Silence, then it's interrupted by Barb (another troll) with the opening to Crazy Train. Hope you enjoy it when you get around to seeing them. The Sing movies aren't bad. Thanks, I hope so too. One things for sure, I'm definitely seeing Trolls Band Together. Even if I have to take a Lyft to get there, I'm going (theater is right down the main road where I live).
@EaglyPurahfan Changed your name again? Anyway, I finally got to see Guardians 3 last week and loved it. Just want to let you know.

@EaglyPurahfan Ah so it’s a two parter movie! And technically, this 2nd movie is the first one! And the first one acts like a bit of an origin story! It sounds amazing! And you said the 2nd part comes out in less then a year?
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!
(My friend code is SW-7322-1645-6323, please ask me before you use it)
@Snatcher It was just Eagly before, now it says EaglyPurahfan, it has "Purahfan" attached to the name now, but still says "Eagly" before it. At least I remember it being Eagly without the "Purahfan."
