@TheBigBlue thankfully the game is pretty straightforward when it comes to haggling. You just need to keep giving him doughnuts if you fail a question.
The games that take coupons however are a different beast. I had to use a guide to make sure I didn’t end up wasting any of them.
@Sunsy Honestly, I didn't catch on that Hattie and his dad were Japanese until he uttered that phrase (the mochi from an earlier episode should've been my first clue).
Also I ship Alice and Hattie! 🤭
Me niether, I found it to be really cool, especially since I enjoy cooking Japanese food.
@Sunsy I remember playing with my amiibos a lot as well, especially with Smash Bros. I played Mario Party 10's amiibo party mode quite a bit back then, too, with the Super Mario series amiibo figures. I have quite a lot of variants of the Mario amiibo myself, such as the Mario series one, the Smash Bros. one, and the one for the 30th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. with the classic colors. Mario's my favorite character, after all.
That's cool that your mom got you a subscription to Electronic Gaming Monthly. I think I have an issue or two from EGM? I have all my magazines and guides stored somewhere. Back in the early 2000s, I'd use the internet and magazines for new gaming news and stuff. Nowadays, it's pretty much just Nintendo Life for me as well.
That's cool, I used to have Sonic and the Secret Rings as well, though I didn't really get into it at the time for some reason. If I recall correctly, I had kind of a hard time with its controls. I will say though, that Sonic Colors is really good, and I played it all the way through. The Wii was a pretty solid console, honestly. I used to play Mario Kart Wii online a lot, I had and still have quite a few Virtual Console games, and Super Mario Galaxy, along with its sequel, are a couple of my favorite games of all time. It had a nice lineup of 2D platformers, too!
Oh thanks for that episode recommendation, I'll be sure to check it out after seeing the movie. Is that the first pilot episode? Or is it in the middle of the series? And speaking of Alice in Wonderland, I saw a post from Disney saying "happy first day of spring!" with a screenshot straight from the movie, with Alice laying down with daisies. I think I know what I'll be watching before this month ends! I should still check out Castle of Illusion at some point myself, alongside World of Illusion. I think I have Epic Mickey for the Wii somewhere as well, I'll have to keep an eye out for it.
As weird as it sounded, I wanted to check out Mario Party 10, even if it was different from the rest of the series. I have lots of variants of amiibo, including the 30th anniversary one of Mario. I also have the two Star Fox ones which I used in Star Fox Zero, and I can use the Sonic and Mario ones in the 2016 Olympic Games.
Yeah, it seems websites like this replaced magazines. I also use Nintendo Everything and peek onto Nintendo Soup occasionally, Nintendo Life is my main place for Nintendo news. I also use Blue's News since it covers PC stuff from around the web, I also find Steam's own news useful for PC games. Now that I think about it, I have a few issues of PC Gamer from when I got into PC gaming, and I have a couple Game Informer magazines somewhere.
Funnily enough, Sonic and the Secret Rings felt like an endless runner in a way, he's always moving forward. The new style took some time to get use to. Sonic Colors was great, I still have the Wii copy in addition to the remaster for Switch. I also played Mario Kart online, but I also liked GoldenEye 007 Wii a lot. It was cool using the Wii remote and nunchuk for aiming in an FPS game. It played more like Call of Duty as oppose to the N64 game.
You're welcome, it's not the first episode, it's in the middle of the series, but it's an episode that incorporates Alice In Wonderland in a really heartwarming way. You don't need to see other episodes to watch it, it is fun to watch after seeing Alice in Wonderland. That sounds like a really cute post to celebrate Spring. Enjoy them when you do check them out. I remember getting Epic Mickey and an extra copy of Sonic and the Black Knight for cheap when Target was clearancing out Wii games. Still need to play it as I got the game shortly before moving years ago.
@Eel I made Rusty take the full price for one of the games... and my 3DS was blessed with Pappy Van Poodle! The greatest Nintendo character you never heard of... but you did since I see you in the comments of the article.
@Sunsy haha thankfully if I ever need to get my Pappy VanPoodle fix, I only need to delete my save data. Since I already paid for them, the game won’t ask for money again, as the article says.
@Eagly That’s actually a good point, if a single, meme, tells you everything you need to know about the ship, and just generally makes sense, then yeah, it’s probably a good ship!
I love the 2nd one so much lol!
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!
(My friend code is SW-7322-1645-6323, please ask me before you use it)
@Anti-Matter I kind of get what you mean, I'm finding it hard to bring myself to look through the 3DS eshop for a few last things because I just prefer playing on my Switch.
Currently playing: Metal Gear Solid
Back burner: Hollow Knight, Undertale
@blindsquarel I'm not scared of doctors. I mean, I think it's a waste of time unless something's wrong with me, but otherwise doctors are just annoying.
Giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Murin!
