Nice past couple of days, friend and I watched John Wick 2 together, and I've been on a Mortal Kombat kick lately. Been playing Mortal Kombat XL and the classic games on PC.
Nfts get worse the deeper you dig some people just steal art and sell them as NFTs
Some franchises are better suited for shake ups than others. With how energetic trolls is it could make an easy 2D shift. Lego cut thier losses toys to life was dying and they got out before the whole thing turned to garbage. But I miss all the cool crossover sets. At least we got a real sonic lego set
I will read it in a day and be said I did that
That was more of a joke the real reason I fear PC’s is I am not great with computers understanding specs getting stuff loaded properly etc is a nightmare I prefer just inserting disks
That is really bad considering art theft is a big problem with artists.
Indeed. The Sonic Lego Dimensions stuff was too good. Honestly, Sonic is what sold me on it, and I stayed because of some of the other stuff it had. The last set I got was Powerpuff Girls, while based off the 2016 series, it even threw in references to the original series too. Like these sets felt like they were made by fans. I wonder how Traveler's Tales felt working on a Sonic thing again since they did some Sonic games during the Saturn era.
Alrighty, that's one thing about PC gaming, because of being interested in it, you end up learning more about how PCs work and little things here and there, or even tricks to do things better.
@Sunsy I'm indirectly connected to some of the pulse of the Amusement industry due to my job (Amusement is the industry term; think video game cabinets, dartboards, jukeboxes, crane machines, gacha machines, etc.), so I can back up that many of those games are indeed set up to milk coins; some even have difficulty settings the technician can set at the behest of the location they're installed in. I've seen this in action directly through crane and pinball machines. I don't work directly with these machines, but some of the software I work with tracks where they are, if they need repaired, etc.
My favorite driving cabinets are Hydro Thunder, California Speed, and Cruis'n Exotica. I'm normally not into racing video games outside of a bit of Mario Kart now and then, but I don't mind the occasional coin-op round (or free test rounds if my employer has one in for maintenance; our technicians are awesome when it comes to play testing lol).
Wow, that's pretty cool. I'm trying to remember which arcade game was hardest for me. I want to say Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 when I tried a machine, aside from that one machine, most of my MK experience was at home on Genesis or Super NES. Most of the arcade games I've played were Sega ones, and I was decent at them, also kind of helped playing the games at home, lol.
Play testing sounds awesome. Now I'm reminded of a racing game I once played called San Francisco Rush 2049, I remember it looked like the smoothest game I've seen at the time when I tried it.
@Sunsy Yep, I'm happy with how I spent Mario Day. I played as Mario in MK8D throughout my entire session that day, too, with the classic pipe frame.
Yep you're right, KOTOR was made by BioWare, I know they made Sonic Chronicles as well. I've not played that one, but I do know of it.
It was called Jetpac, without the K, and yeah that was a pretty good game as well. It was indeed made before Rare made games for Nintendo consoles - I had no clue what system it was originally on, until much, much later. Turns out it was made for the ZX Spectrum, which was a computer that was quite popular in the UK back in the early 80s.
I remember that Sega Genesis ornament you showed me. I don't have any Sega ornaments myself, just Nintendo, so I might try to get some next holiday. I wanna try to get that SNES ornament as well. That's awesome, I used to play Sonic Mega Collection a lot back when I first got it for the GameCube. It marked the first time I got to play Sonic 3 and many of the other games, I first played Sonic 1 and 2 at a babysitter's house after school when I was a child. They had a Genesis over there. Sonic Mega Collection got me into Sonic back in the early 2000s, alongside Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and the first Sonic Advance.
That's good to hear, especially when you're getting spares on discount. Yeah, that's a real bummer that these GameCube games are so ridiculously expensive. Those GameCube games that I have now, they aren't going anywhere, and I'm so happy I have them after all these years!
Thanks! I have a good amount of Disney stuff now, and I'd love to get more. I wanna play more of Disney Dreamlight Valley sometime, and I've been thinking of trying out Castle of Illusion, too. I heard that game, as well as World of Illusion, are really good. The last two are both on the Sega Genesis Mini.
I still need to play the Grand Prix to the new DLC tracks, right now it's only been two player mode with my friend.
Yup, now I'm reminded I still need to play Sonic Chronicles. I have a copy of it I didn't put much play time in.
Yup, that's the game. I thought it was an NES game when I first played it, or even an arcade game, I had no idea it was made for another system. Weirdly enough, a Nintendo system has an officially sanctioned ZX Spectrum emulator within DK64.
That's great, I think Sonic Mega Collection ended up being a lot of Nintendo fans' first experience to the classic Sonic games. I hope I can get the Super NES ornament too, after all, I did get mine for Christmas. I think it has Super Mario World sound effects when switched on.
Yeah, and it also can be interesting. I got an extra copy of Smurfs Dance Party, the oddity is they're two different games. The Toys R Us edition with bonus song, and a regular edition. They made two different saved games on my Wii, it's interesting one is its own disc with the song on it. Like Ubisoft made two different versions of the same game. Fun oddity about having a spare. Yeah, I did get some extra of Sonic games on GameCube, but that was long before any price increases.
Cool, my friend plays Dreamlight Valley. I haven't gotten much Disney stuff, though my friend did surprise me with a mini Alice's Wonderland Bakery coloring book yesterday. Last few Disney things I got were related to that show. Disney made a good show for younger kids (it is a Disney Junior show after all), and it expands on their version of Alice in Wonderland, I love it.

If I ever made a "Kid Icarus" persona, I would be an angel-in-training with Pit as my mentor. Except unlike Pit, I wouldn't think of food all the time, I know how to read, and I definitely would keep my foot out of my mouth (and not get insulted as much as him by other goddesses).
Me: goes on the Pokémon subreddit to ask what 3ds game to get.
The responses: Just pirate the games, it’s not like Nintendo cares anymore.
Nintendo definitely cares about piracy, why else do they go after ROM sites?
Anyway, if you're looking for last minute eShop suggestions, I could suggest Yellow or Gold if you haven't grabbed them yet. As for retail releases, I wouldn't be much of an expert as I've played Ultra Sun and X casually (lucked out on the latter a few years ago, don't regret buying it).

@Kermit1
Yeah Reddit kinda sucks. But it’s also kinda addicting.
@Sunsy
I have all the games released on the DS so gen 1 would be the only virtual console candidate. Right now I think I’m going to go with Omega Ruby.
Currently playing: Pokemon Soul Silver, Mario RPG
Enos 1:15
@blindsquarel Tell that to the people who pirated Sun and Moon, and got nailed because they tried to play them online. And the people who complained that they got banned because they did something illegal... well, you made your bed, etc.
@blindsquarel Alrighty, enjoy Omega Ruby if you get it, hope you can pick out a Gen 1 game before the eShop shuts down. Hopefully you'll get something good out of it.
Meanwhile my most recent eShop purchase was Metroid Prime Trilogy on Wii U. Wanted to grab it before the eShop closed as I wanted to try it with Wii controls.

@JadeKitsune
My 3DS and NDS games are still keep growing.
I still displayed my four 3DS XL machines with three different regions (2 USA, 1 Japan, 1 PAL) so I can play any 3DS games and NDS games.
@JadeKitsune
There are some 3DS games have ability to capture the image with 3DS camera.
Also, you can manually take a photo of 3DS game screenshot with handphone.
@Anti-Matter Some games, yes. Not all games, however. And I'd rather have perfect screen captures, not have to fumble for my phone on the bus whenever my Pokémon evolves.
