Uhh I get what your saying. I used to do that years ago. Look to see which version of the game was better between different consoles & handhelds. Did that alot during the GB, GBC, GBA, DS, PS1, & PS2 era. Over where you live do they have the store: Half Priced Books? I go there where I'm at & they sell alot of used games besides just books. I've managed to build up my PS2 & PS1 games that way lol. I even got a few GB, GBC, GBA, & DS games there as well even though it's technically a used book store. They sell mostly books. Just curious. If they have that store in Indonesia look for it. It's helped me.✌️
@Anti-Matter The battle system in Color Splash wasn't bad per se, but it was definitely flawed. I've heard it's an improvement from Sticker Star in almost every way. I think some of the internet ire is from people who absolutely adored the first two Paper Mario titles and were expecting more of the same when Super Paper Mario rolled around on the Wii. I personally really enjoyed it for its story, music, and characters, but some don't like SPM because of its platforming gameplay. Those out of both camps seemed to generally not like Sticker Star since they felt it was generic. Again, I haven't played SS, but those are the impressions I've gleaned over time. I haven't written off the game, it just isn't a huge priority for me to pick up.
I do agree that Thing cards were fun in Color Splash (SS had them too?). They were gimmicky but deliciously overpowered lol.

Today was a good day! Went to see Minions: The Rise of Gru with the girlfriend for our month-aversary and she surprised me with Assassin's Creed 2 for the Switch
Btw the movie was fantastic! I love both Minions movies and the 3 Despicable me movies
@Kermit1 haha from what I understood, the ban was more so caused by their antics and loudness, which was bothering families with little children who wanted to watch the movie.
@TheJGG Ah Ponyo, that was the very first time I watched a Ghibli movie.
@Zuljaras Glad to hear you enjoyed the movie. Similarly, my friend and I got lucky as a local theater showed Trolls World Tour as part of their summer series. The movie my friend and I wanted to see on the big screen before it was pulled for obvious reasons, I finally got to see it on the big screen with my friend.
@Eel Wow, here I was at the theater with a Poppy shirt and plushie when I went to see Trolls World Tour the other day. Had no idea this was something that happened with Minions.
I heard there were hordes of teenagers going to the theatres to watch that movie wearing tuxedos.
To the point where some theaters banned unaccompanied children wearing formal attire.
Supposedly this was due to a trend that popped up on TikTok. Why people like that platform, I have no idea....To be honest, I feel that way about most social media in general these days. And I'm not even classified as "old" yet.
@Kermit1Super Paper Mario has an excellent plot and writing. Many of the characters, some of the areas, and the music are all very good too! My favorite area is probably the Underwhere. It's a nice play on "underworld" (and there were some Greek/Roman mythology references), under there, and obviously the garment lol.

@Tyranexx Funny story about Super Paper Mario... My Mom played it and I watched most of the time because I found it really hard. But then my Mom really liked the game so win win.
