@Eel I forgot I've seen that film once, so that means I've seen 4 Studio Ghibli films.

Today was a good day! Went to see Minions: The Rise of Gru with the girlfriend for our month-aversary and she surprised me with Assassin's Creed 2 for the Switch

Btw the movie was fantastic! I love both Minions movies and the 3 Despicable me movies

Eel

I heard there were hordes of teenagers going to the theatres to watch that movie wearing tuxedos.

To the point where some theaters banned unaccompanied children wearing formal attire.

Bloop.

And people talk how the youngins dress trashy for once they dress formal in hordes and they ban it.

@Kermit1 haha from what I understood, the ban was more so caused by their antics and loudness, which was bothering families with little children who wanted to watch the movie.

@TheJGG Ah Ponyo, that was the very first time I watched a Ghibli movie.

@Zuljaras Glad to hear you enjoyed the movie. Similarly, my friend and I got lucky as a local theater showed Trolls World Tour as part of their summer series. The movie my friend and I wanted to see on the big screen before it was pulled for obvious reasons, I finally got to see it on the big screen with my friend.

@Eel Wow, here I was at the theater with a Poppy shirt and plushie when I went to see Trolls World Tour the other day. Had no idea this was something that happened with Minions.

Supposedly this was due to a trend that popped up on TikTok. Why people like that platform, I have no idea....To be honest, I feel that way about most social media in general these days. And I'm not even classified as "old" yet.

@Kermit1 Super Paper Mario has an excellent plot and writing. Many of the characters, some of the areas, and the music are all very good too! My favorite area is probably the Underwhere. It's a nice play on "underworld" (and there were some Greek/Roman mythology references), under there, and obviously the garment lol.

@Tyranexx Funny story about Super Paper Mario... My Mom played it and I watched most of the time because I found it really hard. But then my Mom really liked the game so win win.

My profile pic was done by @Kermit1, did a bit of an art exchange. Vegeta is one of my favourite characters and I love the artwork he done, cheers! 👍

@Kermit1 It's almost as fun to watch someone play a game as it is to play one yourself or in co-op IMO. Especially if you get some sweet memories out of the deal.

Anti-Matter

@Tyranexx
Super Paper Mario was creepy and dark as I watched from YouTube.
World of Nothing, River Twygz Bed, Spider head creatures, etc. 😖
I still doubt to consider Super Paper Mario due to its dark and creepy storyline.
I prefer Paper Mario games started on 3DS until Switch due to 3D Things.
But, 3D Things on Origami King was really evil and dark (Look at the holed face of Toads). 😱

Speaking about non Mario games, I dared myself to play Ben 10 Ultimate Alien: Cosmic Destruction PS3 as I didn't have interest with that game before but suddenly I tried the game after watching the gameplay videos from Youtube. I personally still don't have much interest with Ben 10 franchises, I have ever watched the cartoon series on Cartoon Network long time ago but only the earlier seasons. Funny things after I have PS3 machine, I became open to some kids games that I didn't have interest before as I judged them from their gameplay aspect, not by their popularity. So I have played bunch of unusual choice games such as The Adventures of Tintin, Rango, Ben 10, G-Force (Disney), Up, Mini Ninjas, Skylanders games, etc.
Have you ever played some odd choice games that you don't really have interest before but suddenly you can accept the gameplay ?

@Kermit1
I just need one more Skylanders game (Giants) on PS3 and then my Skylanders games collection will be complete (Spyro Adventure until Imaginators).
