Nice, I had a holiday Monday. Enjoy it! I’m hoping they would make a Pikmin Trilogy.

Has anyone played the Frederic games on Switch? They’re on sale so I could grab them for $1.10 together! Are they some sort of music game like Elite Beat or Deemo?

17 hours of staring at code on a computer screen for what ultimately is a very little and seemingly unimportant new feature that had to be done by tomorrow. People will look at it and think.... Nothing.

But I'm fine. Yes Yes.

Time for Animal Crossing!

Oh it's 12am. I guess I can stare at the ceiling fan for a few minutes.

99 little bugs in the code, 99 little bugs.
Put features in; compile again...
127,486 bugs in the code.

I went ahead and bought both Frederic games, and Sparkle 3. Less than $2.50, not bad.

Which one is better: Kororinpa: Marble Mania or Marble Saga: Kororinpa for the Wii?
Both are similar games to Super Monkey Ball.

I have played Dance Dance Revolution A Arcade at City of Tomorrow Mall Surabaya for two days in a row (Thursday and this Friday) after my working time at 4 pm.
I played DDR A for about 1.5 hours, i came so far away from my home just only for playing DDR A, Nothing else. The waiting for DDR A at Surabaya, East Java has paid off at the end of August 2018. So far, i have tried some Most Wanted songs to play and some Old DDR songs to measure how well my performance on DDR A machine. I was soooo..... excited and happy to able playing DDR A at the nearest place on my hometown. My body is very tired now, so does my legs. I have burned more than 400 kcal today, 700 kcal yesterday (Played 15 - 25 songs by total). I was soooo..... sweaty a lot after playing DDR A.

Oh, btw. This is DDR A machine at Mr Token Game Arcade, City of Tomorrow Mall and some of my Best Scores.

Great experience and I recommend all Mario kart fans try it if they get the chance

We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.

Buildings/stores/spaces dedicated to arcades are becoming a rarity around here. The local (dying) mall has a few Video Game machines of the racing and FPS varieties on the avenue near the built-in theater (said theater is how it's still alive IMO), but other than that it's mostly crane and prize machines. You used to be able to find at least one video game cabinet (like Street Fighter) or a pinball cabinet (man I miss seeing these everywhere) here or there in a few eating establishments, but it's mostly crane machines now. I don't get to see anything too fancy like a DDR cabinet unless I go to the nearest decent-sized city.

...Well, there are "Video Gaming" parlors here (my state regulates them for $$$), but that translates in my personal vocabulary to "Gambling". What we normally term gaming is called "Amusement" in the industry that manages this sort of thing. The terms are an integral part of a piece of the software that I work on. The biggest operator in my area prefers gaming and ATM machines to amusement machines due to their profitability, unfortunately. =/ It makes perfect business sense, but I'm not a gambler and don't use an ATM much (usually just cash back in store).

Give me a good pinball cabinet or decent arcade fighter any day.

I have an old empty Wii that I could probably mod (doesn't read discs so we replaced it, and even later transfered all the digital content to the WiiU).

But then I'd have two Wiis connected to the same tv... And I don't really feel like I have enough reasons to mod it.

@ReaderRagfish that’s what I did. I had to buy a second one but they are real cheap now or use the Wii u Wii mode. The controls need time to adjust but they are fun.

I have two as well. Never did try homebrew. Might as well do it now.

I found my old 16gb iPad the other day and grabbed a charge cable on the way home. "This iPad has not been backed up in 92 weeks". Oh my. But it still works for what I need! (Browsing and vids for games while playing) Now going through the long process of updating iOS

So I’m testing out steam link on my phone and... am I supposed to be able to just tap out of the games and access my desktop?

I was even able to open other games from the twitch app and stuff.

Edit: ok it works much better on the family desktop (was trying with my personal laptop). It's a lot more stable.

Harvest Moon and Plants vs Zombies play really well on the phone. Games that need buttons are a bit trickier...

When one email turns your outlook on a dreary, rainy Saturday around....

Fiber is coming to my area. I'm now pre-registered and thrilled to bits. 8D Before too long, I finally get to bid Bon Voyage to Frontier Communications and their shoddy broadband service. It's the only broadband service I can get in my area, unfortunately; the rest of it is overpriced and unreliable wireless and satellite options.

Ugh. The darned capture card corruped 2 hours worth of RE:R2 gameplay. I'll have to play the entire chapter all over again if I want to have a full playthrough.
