@Tyranexx You have Frontier?? I had that when I first moved to GA. It’s so sub par. I’m on a fiber co-op company now, ‘‘tis wonderful. Is Hargray coming to town?

@HobbitGamer: I absolutely hate Frontier. My two-year set contract when I first signed up/moved in was 6 MB/s for 29.99 a month. At that time, I was lucky to get over 1MB during high traffic hours; the worst speed I ever recorded was during a Super Bowl Sunday (0.66 MB). The lines in my area are oversold (businesses and people who can't put up with the unreliability of wireless/satellite providers. Some have bought multiple lines), and they finally upgraded them around the time my contract price expired. Then the cost went up to $49.99/mo for the same 6MB. What really infuriated me was at the turn of this year they tacked on another $1.99 for a "line maintenance surcharge" for a grand total of $51.98.
My speed is now more or less what I pay for, but I sometimes wonder if that had less to do with the upgraded lines and more to do with the fact that I started paying more; they truly could have just been overburdened, but I wonder if shaping wasn't at play.
The company bringing in the fiber is a local co-op stationed in a town in an adjoining county. They signed a contract with a school district in my county and have been laying down fiber for a few months to get it to them before the school year started. A lot of homes and communities along/near where they put down the lines are VERY interested. The cool thing is that the fiber line was actually laid IN my yard, so my installation costs won't hopefully be too high.
The best part? For the cheapest package they're offering (just internet and ignoring any other fees), I can get 250/25MB for just ~$56. So yeah, it'll be a bit more expensive, but the upgrade is so worth it. I may even be less reluctant to make more digital purchases.
...is it Bulloch co-op? Are you stalking me?? Lol
I get about those new speeds now, but it's around $70 because you HAVE to have a land line account as well. I'm waiting for that to change because, well....landlines aren't used really. I'm satisfied, though, and the fiber line is on my property, too. The only other providers out here are satellite, anyway. And that just ain't gonna cut the butter for me.

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)

Nah, it's a local co-op. XD I haven't heard of that one. I've been to northwest Georgia a couple times in the last few years (Atlanta for a conference, Lookout Mountain a couple years ago as part of a family vacation), but that's about it. The sign-up process pretty much made me choose a land line (which I don't even have and don't really desire TBH), but I don't know about any charges associated with that yet. They're still in the "pre-construction" process, so some of the pricing isn't final.
I was pretty sour back when I first moved in and found out that I couldn't get any other broadband internet providers as I was under the impression that lines for Mediacom and a couple others came out this far; turns out that they terminate a little outside the city limits of the town I work in near the school that's closest to me...a couple of miles up the road. Someone I work with is more bitter about it than I am because his sub-division is only about half a mile down the road from the school. XD He streams and downloads stuff more than I do as he's a big PC and PS4 guy. Good news is that he's included on their coverage as well.
Oh I bet he is miffed. I’m about 8 miles out of the town area and providers go from 4 to 1, haha. When I lived near Charleston, the town I was in had an exclusivity contract with Time Warner for almost a decade. Then Knology swooped in, followed by Uverse and Comcast. I guess for city areas whatever company fronts the hardware gets a deal for awhile to make back the investment.
Around the college it’s funny because for campus resident properties Northland does TV and Frontier does internet. Those are the two things they’re respectively worse at.
I just spent an hour playing Ballon World in the luncheon kingdom so I could bankroll for costumes. What’s wrong with me. I feel like I need to take a shower or do something productive with my life.
From what I understand, Verizon used to actually handle connectivity in the area that I moved into. Then they were bought out by Frontier. I know someone asked Mediacom once why they wouldn't come out this far; their excuse at the time was that Frontier was under contract in the area, plus they didn't want to lay down the money for any lines this way. What's funny is that we do get advertising for them through post office inserts.
In other news, I ordered a copy of Metroid: Other M online earlier. Feel free to call me crazy. Don't worry, I know what I'm getting into.
Talking about crazy purchases, I noticed Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon had a nice discount on My Nintendo and decided to buy it.
I don't actually like traditional Fire Emblem gameplay (I tried with Birthright and Sacred Stones, but nope), but Warriors made me care about these characters... So why not give it a try...
@Yosheel
Um....
Why did that rated 18+ game article cover still displayed on the Top of this site ??
I thought it will be replaced by the newest articles.
Because if so it's really worrying that you can't even look at a logo.
I mean, I can understand you being uncomfortable with a screenshot of a gory scene being featured right there in the front site, but that's literally just the silhouette of a dragon.
@Anti-Matter Seriously though do you call the stations up and complain that they are running adds for rated R movies? Or magazines publishers for the same thing geesh.
And didn't @Antdickens tell you once that coverage of mature games is not going to change on this site. Seriously someone get this guy a new diaper.

Whenever i accidentally saw that damn logo or recognized anything from that (sounds, character's name, etc) it will turn my emotion from Neutral / Happy suddenly become Really Angry before 1 second.
And now i have to "censor" some Normal words in vocabulary just because it reminds me from those Damned game. (The words i have to "censor" were actually Neutral words, like "Temperature 0 Kelvin", "Kind of animals with scales & lays egg", "Dangerous Arachnide with claw and poisonous sting", "Tobias name", "God of lightning in Japan", etc. Those names were common names on real life, but whenever i read / said that name, it suddenly always reminded me to that damn 18+ game. Saying those Neutral names suddenly like a Taboo for me, because of that damn game ruined my young age.)
Sorry if my confession was really weird & didn't make a sense.
