Topic: Professor Layton TV Series is in Development

One of my favorite series is finally getting its own anime! So far, it has been announced that the series will premiere in 2018 and there will be 26 episodes total. Who else is ready for some more puzzle solving goodness?

I'm not keen politics since that stuff is spooky, I'd rather watch SpongeBob over Fox News anyways!

If it's an accurate adaptation, the plot needs to constantly stop for unimportant puzzles, some of which take a good chunk of time.

The Eternal Diva was an okay-ish movie. If it follows an expanding and continuous plot, I'm all for it. Hope it's set during the first trilogy of games with Layton, Luke and Flora as its protagonists.

According to Anime News Network, the series will be based on the recent Lady Layton Mystery Journey game and will span 50 episodes with a 30 minute run-time. I'm a little disappointed that the professor will not the main star, but at least this show will hopefully be better than the game it is supposedly based off of.
