Bwahahahaha!!! They're just realizing this? I thought that's why they stopped even trying years and years ago. Fans could never really be satisfied. It's just that simple.

He should be happy. It's a good sign when consumers always want more and more of your product.

Well, you know, presuming he's not just the powerless figurehead that he is, if he listened occasionally to what fans want, it could go a long way.

Does he really see Nintendo land as something that would please the core Nintendo fans? As for NSMBU, people would probably be more excited if it was a 3D Mario or a more creative 2D Mario game and people may have been asking for a new Pikmin for ages but people were hoping for something surprising and unexpected too.

To be fair, the context wasn't about flat-out 'pleasing fans', it was a response to cries of 'we want more multi franchise games like SSB.' Even so, I think that those who care about all of Nintendo's franchises as a whole rather than just the heavy hitters are pleased by NintyLand. I haven't read one negative hands-on from E3.s

Lolwut? Those were both decisions no one is arguing with. In fact, KI on a Handheld is great, And having Pikmin 3 on a handheld would be too downgraded, it needs to be a Console game.

Not sure how this could be considered bad decisions.

I never said Pikmin should be on a handheld...but anyway...from what I saw at E3, and especially given that Shigsi said the preferred control option was wii remote, was it not possible to release this on the Wii?

I've not played Kid Icarus...so I'm stabbing in the dark here...but is there any reason why it couldn't be released on the DS?

My point is, you could argue that Nintendo has taken advantage of its fans desires by forcing them to fork out for new hardware, to play the games that the company knows they want....

Did Nintendo hold a gun to everyone who purchased a 3DS to play Kid Icarus?

Because they don't even try, everyone was so mad that there was no AC news at E3 and they had their press event yesterday and they still gave us nothing people at least wanted some news even just a bit of news. People were expecting a dual analog 3DS and they just gave us a jumbo 3DS. Why are fans never satisfied? because Nintendo doesn't even listen to us, they just pop out a Mario game and apparently that's all we need. As of late NOA has been terrible, so yeah we're not satisfied.
