I also prefer Nicholsons Joker but Ledger did not replace him as Nolan's Batman is a remake, if they used a different actor in the sequel to The Dark Knight I don't think it would be right (my opinion ofcourse), if they do find a actor who would be good enough to replace Ledger then why not just use him for another villain, there are plenty to choose from.

Point well taken, but then it does come full circle, I don't think Locke and I were talking about Joker being the main villain. Personally, I'm settling on Mr. Zsasz. Do I think it'd happen? With the Riddler still available, I doubt it but I'd like to see it.

Thank you SuperSonic1990, Machu, & Objecion_Blaster. I thought I was the only one that thought Megan Fox was overrated. She's hot but nowhere near as hot as everyone makes her out to be. I'd take Scarlett Johansson over Megan Fox any day.

Oh don't be like that, you and everyone else here on the site, unless you don't like girls, would gladly take either and lets not even hypo the situation where you'd have to choose between the two...now acting ability? I'd take Scarlett over Megan but she's already Black Widow...no chance for Catwoman...it's sad...so, so sad. Back on topic, I wouldn't be against The Puppetmaster either.

@J Bitties
No doubt. I'd gladly take a girl half as hot as Megan Fox but it is her acting ability that I'm not too fond of. She always has that same expression on her face. Scarlett is the complete package. Can't wait to see her as Black Widow.

Am I the only one who thinks Megan Fox is a bit meh. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't kick her out of bed, especially if a leather cat-suit was involved. But enough with the Megan Fox, she is everywhere!

The thing is that most of the time (there are a few rare exceptions) she looks like she's wearing massive amounts of makeup and it just doesn't work. (I don't care for that look anyway. Especially eyeliner, that ****'s just weird.)

Butterface though. Stick her behind that cat mask and it probably won't be that bad.

Anyway... Yeah, I can't really comment on preferences for future Batman film villains to see. I haven't read a whole lot of comic books so most of the time all I know about the various superheroes and their villains is what makes it into the movies.

this would be referencing Megan Fox of Transformers and Two and a Half Men fame.

That explains my lack of knowledge regarding her: I didn't watch Transformers (not my kind of thing), and I've never even heard of that second film.

However, I just watched a pretty pitiful preview for a thriller called Jennifer's Body, which had more than enough Fox material to make a judgment. She's certainly attractive, but not the type I particularly go for, and, judging from that trailer, a terrible actress.

"Scarlett is the complete package." Damn right. First two people on my hitlist.
1. Miley Cyrus
2. Ryan Renolds

Awesome. I'll try to at least outdo Halle Berry, which shouldn't take much effort.

Julie Newmar, by the way, was the real Catwoman for this young man back when he was just a boy watching the corny 60's show reruns, which he took very seriously, completely unaware at that age of the intentional campiness of the series. I can't outdo her.

Especially with that attitude.

Julie Newmar was indeed some hot pudding. But I'll take Yvonne Craig as Batgirl, plz.

Of course I may just have a thing for Batgirls in general. Even the one in The Animated Series got my motor runnin', and that was a damn cartoon.

Excellent choice; I believe I'd also take her over Catwoman, if we're expanding the topic beyond the feline. I just now learned that she also played a green-skinned alien on Star Trek in a modestly racy bit, but I'm not particularly into green skin, so I'll wipe that from memory and keep my adolescent Batgirl fantasy intact.

As much as I do like Batgirl, that seems like a character out of place in the Batman world. Now, I don't doubt Goyer's writing ability at all so if he has an idea in mind, I'm sure it's good and I'll be open to seeing it, I just can't get my head around her being in it...Robin would have to come first and I don't want Robin at all...unless it's Jason Todd...if only for the Joker to kill him which would then expand The Joker's role in the next film, and I'm not about that at all...ANYWAYS...

Two and a Half Men is a TV show. I've only seen a couple episodes here and there though, and I don't remember seeing her in it. checks imdb She was in ONE episode... That doesn't sound like much of a claim to fame to me. Anyway, the show is two guys (they're brothers, and one is played by Charlie Sheen) and a kid (Sheen's son? or maybe it's the brother's son? I don't know) and they all live together.

Anyway, apparently Megan Fox was also in that Simon Pegg movie How to Lose Friends & Alienate People. (Did anybody actually see that one? I know I haven't seen it yet.)

edit: something relevant to the original topic here (found this posted on the imdb board for Megan Fox):

The 2 And a Half Men thing was more of a tee hee hee for those that saw the episode, I'm aware she wasn't a main cast member. Anyways, I saw that movie and to me it was one of Pegg's worst. I didn't laugh at all...just wasn't funny.

From the linked article:

So, no confirmation yet. In fact, supposedly Warner Bros. is looking to Rachel Weisz as a top contender for the role.

Rachel Wiesz... does not bode well.

This is all rumour - no one has been cast as Catwoman. Infact no one has even said Catwoman will be in it. We could go one further and say they haven't even announced the film is even being made yet!

To be honest I hope it doesn't get made. The Dark Knight is going to be incredibly tough to top. The Joker is by far Batman's greatest nemesis - all others pale in comparison. People can throw around names for Catwoman, the Riddler, Bane - whoever. You have to admit, though, it's never going to top the Joker speculation and hype before the Dark Knight. I couldn't care less about the Riddler, or Catwoman.

Megan Fox is hot trash, nothing more. Her acting is average, at best, so here's hoping this remains a rumor.
