OKAY! After being gone almost all day, it's time for something new! I would now like to call this new segment "@RevolverFlare presents: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly". Every week, I'll pick three different fan fic's; One that I recommend because it's good (good story and writing), one that I recommend because it's bad (so you can learn from its mistakes) and finally, one that I recommend because it's down right ugly (horrible writing and an insult to the English language). Shall we get started?
@RevolverFlare presents! The Good, The Bad and The Ugly! This weeks picks are: The Good: Progress, by Andrew J. Talon Description: A thousand years is quite the generation gap, so Princess Luna decides she has to get with the times. However, this isn't quite as easy as she thinks it will be... Review: A very funny fan fic starting everypony's favorite princess: Luna! After being imprisoned in the moon for a thousand years, Luna has really fallen behind on various things, such as technology and the way people interact. The writing is great, the author really captured the characters personalities. 8 Applejack's out of 10
The Bad: Stopping the NightMare cult by superfunnelc Description: when bronies Jack and Scott step out of a portal and into equestria they will find love, adventure, action, puzzles, parties, and CAKE! Note: Chapters will get better the farther you go along please do not stop reading based on the 1st chapter Review: This one's pretty bad, in the sense that the concept is over done and cliche. The plot revolves around two humans, Jack and Scott, who find a portal to the magical land of Equestria in their fridge. After stepping through the portal, they find that they are now ponies. BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. It turns out they're actually Celestia's kids, and that they were in fact ponies their whole lives. This one isn't horrible. The idea of switching the character's point of view is pretty neat, and the writer does make very character sound like themselves. BUT! It's those little things that stop this story from being average. Like, the constant references to the show, the semi-simplistic writing, the characters are Mary Sue's, or the fact that (spoiler) Ditzy got raped(spoiler). Other than that, this story has potential of being good, and I do recommend that you guys read past the first 3 chapters, as it does start to get better. 6 Applejack's out 10
The Ugly: da nite dhat changd everythang by Im nut ok i Promiss Description: A story about a pony who has to deal with soceity and all the other depressing things in her life. I am going to try writing a story for my little pony because the show rocks as much as GC... Review: This is the single greatest thing that I have ever read in my life! Every other fan fic pales in comparison to this wonderful masterpiece! Bravo! The author nailed everypony's personality to a tee! The writing is so profound! It truly touched my soul, and for that, I would like to thank the author. I give this story 10 APPLEJACK'S OUT OF 10!
Woah, is this one bad! In the words of @CorporalPegasus: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah -Phew- Believe me, forever in black is great after reading this weeks abomination!

Howdy! Revolver grabs a muffin, and takes a bite. Instantly his taste buds are bombarded with an unexplainable taste. He is suddenly in a euphoric state. After a couple of seconds he says... WOAH! These are amazing! Did you make these?
@ZeroX Interesting about those Pokemon games, though why they are still making them for last generation hardware is still beyond me. (I let the first one slide because it came just before the 3DS came out, but this is inexcusable.)

Great selection of fanfiction @RevolverFlare and @AlbertoC. Progress is the most funny Luna fic ever. It intrduced the abacus into the fanon. I would give it a 10 just for that . Not fan of Loss but it is good. Gonna ignore the bad and ugly fics for a lack of time... what a sacrifice.
