So I finally took the time to give this show a try, and I LOVE it! I ended up watching the first 10 episodes last night. I don't know what it is, but when I watch MLP:FiM I just get this overwhelming feeling of joy. This is definitely one of the best shows on tv. Also, AppleJack is definitely my favorite pony.
My bedroom just became 20% cooler! And Fluttershy has somepony to cheer for (yay)! Here's the latest addition to my MLP: FiM toy collection... Don't know if Rainbow Dash can do a Sonic Rainboom on the ground with a skateboard and turtle in tow, but I'll find out soon enough!
@Wildvine53 Welcome to the herd (brohoof)! That's like me. First night, I started watching and couldn't stop! The show is addictive, but in a good way. And it is a very positive, happy show that just makes you feel good. Something not true of many shows that leave you with a bad aftertaste. It's my favorite show period! I'm going to subscribe to another cable package just to be able to see season 2! As for Applejack, she friggin cracks me up all the time (the whole show does... when I need to laugh, all I need to do is watch an episode). @FluttershyGuy Congrats, on getting those cute Pony toys! Can´t wait to get my own Twilight Sparke! Also yeah nothing like good old "Look Before you Sleep", it's so funny, Rarity and AJ are awesome ("It is ON" best line ever), and Twi going all yeepee Slumber Party, oh I loved that.

So I watched 2 more episodes today, and so far my favorite episodes have been "Dragonshy" and "Applebucking season". It was great to see Fluttershy stand up for herself (and her friends). I think AppleJack and Pinky Pie staring into the trophy was hysterical. @Fluttershyguy A few of my friends told me about the show, but reading through this thread is what really pushed me to give it a chance. You're right one day ponies will take over the world!
My name is Sylverstone Khandr and I think I like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
I initially dismissed it as a fairly simple toon only geared towards a younger demographic but when I watched it, everything felt... different. Ace voices (I freaking love Tara Strong), fluid animation and some very interesting characters.
I don't see myself as a brony (personally I think it's a weird fad), but just a casual fan of the show.
