@Aqueous: Yeah, I'm kind of a closet brony too. Slowly creeping out for my closet, though.
It's my past that stops me from coming out, but I'm being careful, I've been burned badly before for something I liked and I'd rather test the waters slowly, more mature people around me or not, I can't forget what happened and it weighs heavily on me, as I rarely forget something. However I've come out to my closest friend who isn't a brony, two bronies I found I knew and my much more mature brother, he's as good as me in figuring something out and caught on to me slowly and in the end got me to admit but he's much better then he once was, it's great to see. However there are other things holding me back, different memories and parts of the past. Plus I know a chunk of my family, my Mom and other brother are outright haters of it, I feel sorry for my sister, she's too young to have to deal with that, worse I think she (My Mom) is going by the old one and he's at the point where he has to be cool. Alas I'll come out but but slowly and carefully, I think I took the more mature brother from hater to neutral at least.
@SquiggleTail - School, you mean high school? Here I thought I was younger. I'm assuming I'm counted as a stranger, well at least you have courage, where mine falls. Hmm...., actually I'm going to send you a swapnote soon, expect it before tomorrow night, it's to be fair, one of two things to do to balance things out.
Spike? Come on guys... I mean... who wouldn't like Rarity? Her lustrous mane... sparkinling eyes... shes so beautiful and so talented... and her voice... that's how we all feel right?!
It's like being bitten by a snake... and the poison runs through your whole body... you become paralyzed... and your heart races... and so so light headed... not that I've been bitten by a snake.
She's a real rarity of a Pony and I would protect her like the more precious gem in the world.
@Aqueous Eeyup, I'm a Junior (11th Grade) in High School. Trust me, it took forever to get the courage and be a very open brony. I remember when I messed up a Pinkie Pie and I decided to give it away at school. A friend of mine took it from my hands and proclaimed to the entire class of Seniors (12th Grade) that I liked My Little Pony, and that who ever wanted the figure, could have it. I turned an entirely new shade of red that day, and I thought I was nearly going to die, but, then suddenly, everybody forgot about it, and life went on.
