Hello everypony!

Yet, another weekly post, but I have great news on this one. I finally got myself a job. XD Been looking for one all year, so yeah, I'm a happy pony now. I may not be able to post as much during vacations and stuff, but I will do my best to keep my weekly posts going. Wish me luck.

This Sunday, we're starting a series of recommended stories by GrimWolf; he already mentioned he is a fan of the Lunaverse, and I do think the stories of this alternate universe can be enjoyed by all pony fans, so hope some of you give it a chance. Tonight on the ==Fic of The Week==:

[On Fimfiction Slice-of-Life Complete Everyone]
The now-famous first story of the Lunaverse!
Trixie, the Element of Magic and the personal student of Princess Luna, moved to Ponyville some months ago to learn about the magic of friendship. More specifically, how to not let her abrasive personality drive away the friends she does make. So far, she has succeeded, becoming part of Ponyville life, and, as such, she has decided to put on a magic show for Ponyville during the Eventime festival, the celebration of the spring equinox.
However, a certain purple-coated unicorn seems determined to ruin her fun, and everypony elses'. This unicorn has traveled far to learn as much about magic as she can, and was excited to learn at the hooves of the Element of Magic herself. What she finds in Ponyville, however, leaves this purple-coated unicorn... disappointed. She resolves to take drastic steps to show Trixie what real magic is all about! ...this could end poorly.

Indeed, It all starts when the very studious Twilight Sparkle arrives to ponyville to meet with the Element of Magic, in hopes that she would learn powerful spells, but when she finds out that the choosen one only makes stage tricks, she thinks its some kind of test. In order to prove herself she decides to show her skills by doing something incredibly stupid and dangerous.
One thing someone should take in consideration is that this story mentions some adventures and events just to give a sensation of continuity and world building, some of this events have their own stories and others we'll never know. People who have read this story often complains that Twilight Sparkle is out of character... and they are right. This purple unicorn isn't Celestia's Student and lacks the moral guidelines the princess taught her (On the brighter side, she is quite a good antagonist with a really interesting redemption arc).

Well yesterday something big was announced, and it's a my little pony movie!And is not an equestria girls movie is a full on pony movie.Damn i'm hyped for it but it comes out in 2017, ahh i can wait still though amazed this was announced.

[On Fimfiction Slice-of-Life Complete Everyone]
Trixie Lulamoon, the personal student of Princess Luna, has finally, through a combination of reasoning, pleading, and whining, managed to convince the princess to invest some real responsibility in her. Luna has appointed Trixie to be the official representative of her Night Court to the town of Ponyville, which this year will be hosting the Longest Night Celebration. Trixie is additionally tasked with overseeing the preparations for that festival.
There are some problems though. The catering is way too many kinds of apples, the weather patrol is far behind, the musical maestro is nowhere to be found, and the decorations could use significant toning down. To top it all off, Trixie can't help but feel that this was less an appointment to a position of real responsibility, and more an informal exile from the Night Court. Still, things could be worse: a mad alicorn goddess of fire and hate could escape from her millennial imprisonment on the sun and try and conquer Equestria. But what are the chances of that?

This story is the equivalent to the pilot episode of the series "Friendship is Magic" where the young noble Trixie Lulamoon is sent to oversee the Longest Night Festival and making everyone mad,when suddenly the evil nightmare, Corona, the tyrant sun attacks, kidnapping half the population of ponyville and banishing Princess Luna. Now it's up to Trixie to stop the evil nightmare with the help of some ponies that are not very happy with her... Will these ponies turn into her friends or will they kill her when she is not looking.
This story contains many familiar faces in unexpected roles, including Applejack as a big jerk and Celestia as a megalomaniac villain obsessed with power; by the way, she is the most criticized character in the story, since it doesn't really explain why she is like that (it´s explained in further episodes). The greatest virtue in this story is how the main characters (The Lunaver Mane 6) grow from complete strangers to interesting characters to follow (Specially Raindrops) and how Trixie becomes a relatable character without loosing her main attributes.

@midnafanboy Nice! I heard about that around that time you posted. Hasbro must have been listening to my constant grumbling about there being no actual pony movie yet.

Wow, four years is a long time... I wasn't even knowledgeable of this fandom even existing for a year or so. My, how time flies. I'll never regret coming on here and meeting you all. The times I've spent on this board have been some of the best times of my life, and look forward to some more time. Things tend to get in the way for me now, but I'll try my best to keep posting.

And since I'm ending this post comic reviewless, I'll just leave this here...

And yes the movie did rock that's why i'm using Adagio Dazzle as my avatar she's my favorite of the three main Villains i don't care she's awesome and i love hair. But yeah a new pony movie finally!!I never thought this was going to happen,Hasbro is finally using their brain.Maybe they think to stop being jerks with their Content ID claim BS that's happening all over youtube.

@midnafanboy Thanks for the welcome back. She was pretty neatly designed for that movie, but not much of a fan of her character otherwise, but that's just me. As fir the content claims that are happening, their only just trying to keep their property in line with what they think. It is technically their right to do so, but they've been pretty laid back about it however compared to other companies. Doesn't make me any less sad about some take downs though...

COMIC TIME

Hmm... I think my last one was five in the Friends Forever series if I remember correctly... I'll probably continue on from there.
This one released a while ago, but I'll be reviewing/impressioning comic #6 from Friends Forever.

Something great and powerful was ahoof in this comic, but I bet you could tell that already by the cover. Strangely enough, this entry decides to stick Trixie with Rainbow Dash. To this reader, it did seem to be a bit of a strange pairing, what with her rivalry with Twilight being a thing that could be more deeply explored. Once I started reading though, everything started to click with me. If I go into to much detail I'll spoil the plot for some that may not have read it yet, but everyone in the story felt well written to me. The art is very well done with this issue being drawn by the same artist who did the inside art for both the Trixie arc in the main series, and the Celestia and Spike issue. (Still my second favorite artist). We also get some World building in this too, which I always find intriguing. Some funny moments then round it out into a nice comic to pass the time between seasons...

And it has Trixie in it, so there! (Sethisto would be proud of me )

This is really a long wait for Season 5, and I'm afraid it may not be up to what people are expecting.

Yesterday I finally went to the movies and watched Equestria Girls Rainbow Rocks. Man that thing looks good on the big screen, so many cool details and the expressions and the animations are just as good as the show now. Cool movie indeed. ^_^d

It took many long years and far more defeats than he'd care to admit, but at last—at long last—victory was finally within the great Ahuizotl's reach. Absolutely nothing, would be able to stand in his way any longer. Yet, he can't shake the feeling that he's forgotten about something. One tiny, crucial detail. Something very important. As in, 'could easily ruin his plans if not attended to' important... Eh, maybe he just left the oven on again.

This story features a motherly Celestia, an adorably playful Luna, an overexcited Rainbow Dash and a comically frustrated Ahuizotl whose attempt to take over the world are blatantly ignored by our heroes.
A quite good comedy with a good narrative.

Been very busy this weekend, I had to work because we had our kinda version of Black Friday, and I work at some customer service... ugh... But yeah I survived.

One day, Rainbow Dash notices something about Sunset Shimmer: she only eats salads, fruit, and non-meat products. So she decides to dare the former pony to try a meat product the next day at lunch. Little do they know what's on the menu that day...

This is an EQG story with a simple premise: Rainbow Dash wants Sunset Shimmer to also eat meat since she is not in Equestria anymore, she tries it and receives an awful surprise. Probably the most enjoyable part of the story is the "twisty" at the end. It's neither an "I love meat" story nor "Animal Rights" one, but the theme is worthy. The story starts a little dull but the rest is quite good.

Meghan, when I said that I could wait a bit more because I've Pokemon and Smash to play, for "a bit more" I DIDN'T MEANT OTHERS 4 MONTHS. Awwww......... Nice teaser anyway (thought they could avoid that "BUY OUR TOYS" at the end).

Just been to busy... Sorry everypony. Said I'd write more reviews, and I just haven't followed through. I'll try for this week though!

@Volke93 I really liked that. Kinda gives a look at everything that's happened over the past 4 years. I look forward to when it finally airs early next year.

@Twilight_Crow I'm afraid so. Just been to busy with things for much pony, though I'll catch up with comics eventually. Glad you saw the movie though, and that you survived the shopping rush. I'll add more of the stories to my list, and thanks for the pics!

@Discostew I've been feeling a little more of a disconnect myself. Don't blame you though with only keeping up with certain things. I've been finding myself that I've needed to prioritize time a bit more.
