to be honest its not for me. i do see however why so many people like it. the bright animation, strong mythology and humor were present. i thought the dialogue was highly cheesey but overall fitting of the style the show has. kinda like a cross between Kirby Right Back at Ya and Chowder. maybe i'm just too square to break myself out of the box, maybe it's cause i'm a quarter of a century old... lol if i'm ever watching my niece and nephews and they want to watch it i won't force myself out of the room to avoid it but i don't think i'd actively seek it out. anyway, thanks for introducing me to ponies, not as entertaining as furries but much better then the twilight saga. .

I also was hoping someone would come and send in an episode because I've heard starting with a later one is best but I started with the first one and from some reason kept going to I joined here and joined the other bronies.

Aside: going back a page or two, @Aqueous i'm assuming you mean Vancouver when you say Stephen King's Maine? And for the record, my sister lives in central Maine (not too far from Mr. King, in fact), and i can say that his portrayal of what it's like up there (how the people and towns are) is pretty much 100% accurate, right down to the trademark "Ayuh" saying.

No, this show doesn't have silly humor like spongebob, at least no as silly. And no this isn't a cult, though there are colts involved. XD

@the_shpydar - I'm in the future not the past in relationship to you (I'll let you figure that out as I love being cryptic). Where I live it's a small village along the coast line, with a sheltered harbour do to the many islands and it's around the village and in near by villages that alot of filming takes place and the area is then known as "Maine" in films by American film makers, as it's cheaper to film here. Many people I know have played extras in movies and some popular television show that's on going, also most places get renamed for the movies, so you would not be able to find it by the given names.

Oh, just remembered currently it's Haven he's been filming in the area, it gets called Maine in the show (I have not watched it), so I've started using the term Stephen King's Maine to describe the area. This is the first time I've bothered sharing the joke. Personally it's funny but I can have an odd idea of humour and it likely makes the most sense to me living in the area and watching the reviews that created the term.

On the personality test, I probably got like 90% Fluttershy, 2% everypony else, LOL. Which is strange, because I made my answers without any consideration of which pony the response would most resemble, and I'm a little on the self-loathing side. So, for Fluttershy to be my Best Pony AND almost completely match her personality wise is odd to say the least! Or maybe not with her love of animals. Oh, forgot earlier, they're also supposedly doing a remake of King's "Pet Semetary". Or do they call it a reboot these days? Hollywood has enough 'boots for the US Army these days.

I mentioned loving to find chiptune remixes before? Also love finding piano covers of my fav music, especially VG. Recently found some amazing versions of "Blinded by Light" and "Kimi ga iru Kara" from Final Fantasy XIII at YouTube! Oh, and to show the difference between now and my previous life as BetelgeuseWC77, right before becoming a Brony, I think my avatar was Colonel "I Need Scissors 53" Campbell from Metal Gear Solid.

I know he was being serious, I was just playing because everypony else had already made it clear we aren't.

Just to put it out there, I definately fall into the "Newly Minted Brony" category, and am damn proud of it. ^_^
