@Tasuki I was also hoping the Cubs would win. As a Dodgers fan, I did not want to have to play the Brewers. Hopefully it will be a good series and they won't just blow us out like they did in the regular season. Good job beating the Padres, though. Hate those guys.

@Xyphon22 LOL honest I wouldn't have expected us to get past the Dodgers if we made pass the Brewers. Our bullpen is needing some serious work. Hopefully during the off season, we make some moves.

Yamamoto, dealing last night.

Wow.

@Magician And it was the worse of the two starting pitching performances the Dodgers have had this series. It's hard to imagine two back-to-back games like Snell and Yamamoto have given. Hopefully Glasnow and Ohtani can keep it up and make this a short series.

Well, that was some game and some series. The Dodgers had absolutely no business winning that World Series. The Blue Jays outplayed them in every facet except we had Yamamoto. But I'll take it. It was definitely fun to watch, probably the best World Series I've ever seen.

@Xyphon22 I will admit it was a great series. I was hoping that the Jay's would walk away with the win but the Dodgers did capitalize on a few mistakes that the Jay's made and sometimes that's all that takes. Congrats go to the Dodgers.

Can't wait for next year.

Should be interesting to see what moves the Dodgers make over the off-season.

Clayton Kershaw (retired)
Michael Kopech (free agent)
Kirby Yates (free agent)
Andrew Heaney (free agent)
Kike Hernandez (free agent)
Miguel Rojas (free agent)
Michael Conforto (free agent)

Because of their efforts in the season, I assume Kike Hernandez and Miguel Rojas will be resigned.

Michael Conforto, for his asking price and effort, is probably moving on.

Dodger fans woke up to saucy news as they sign Edwin Diaz.

I guess that means Roki Sasaki will be moving back up to the rotation? Or middle relief at the very least.

@Magician Yeah, they'd already said they plan on making Sasaki a started again. Hopefully it goes better than last year. And hopefully Diaz goes better than Tanner Scott did.

For someone who was looking for 400m over 10 years, 240m over 4 years to be on with the champs seems...very okay. Dodgers are going to set a new luxury tax record (again) next offseason regardless of how 2026 turns out.

Well its official Cubs season is done. Another injured pitcher out for the season this time its Cade Horton. With so many injuries to our pitchers I am not expecting much this season which is upsetting especially after the great season they had last year. Seriously are we going to even have enough pitchers to make it to the end of the year? Whoever scouted these pitchers needed to be fired.

More bad news for us Cubbie fans, looks like Justin Steele will be out longer. Originally predicted to come back this month they are now saying maybe not till after the All Star break or more like end of the year or next year.
