So I think everyone who's a minecraft fanatic knows that Notch the creator of minecraft has announced that Mojang and Warner Bros are are in the process of making a Minecradt movie and I would like to hear your opinions on this and what you think what will come outta this.

Agreed. I don't think all game movies are bad, but Minecraft has nothing to make a movie out of. And it screams gamey in every way. There is no way to a good Minecraft movie, that actually has something to do with Minecraft.
I think it could be great, but obviously we'll have to see. I mean, just look at The LEGO Movie. The fact that Minecraft doesn't have any plot gives the creators a lot of creative freedom, and as long as Notch keeps a close eye on it, it should end up being just fine. He'll make sure Herobrine doesn't play any roles and that no one ever calls gold butter.

Well, I guess there wouldn't really be anything wrong with calling gold butter, it's just that it annoys a lot of people. As for Herobrine, personally I'd love it if he at least made like, a cameo in one scene where you could only see him for one frame or something, but the problem is there are enough kids who actually think Herobrine is real already, people constantly putting fake Herobrine stories on the MC forums, and putting him in the movie would just make this stuff worse. I see what you're saying with Herobrine and kids making it worse but I think Herobrine could be used very creatively in the movie not as a full fledged character or anything but maybe some suspicious references towers him in some way
