Topic: March Direct (Place your bets)

This isn't the usual "When are we getting it" thread! No, siree, Bob! This is a game! A challenge to see who has the best intuition! I have, listed below, three dates. The March Direct may be on any of these dates and you may guess which one it will be on!

March 14th
March 18th
March 22nd

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! You can also place your non-material bets on Nintendo stumping us all and choosing another day in March. And if you're so inclined, you can even "bet" that Nintendo won't do a Direct, this month!

So, step right up, place your bets. Let's see who knows their favorite company best!

(Also, my vote is on March 22nd, partially because I want a Palutena reveal, and mostly because that's also my birthday!)

My vote goes to March 22nd because of the same reason of yours. My birthday is also on the 22nd!

My monies on them skipping March, then having a ND in April revealing Mario in Mario world; where Mario must save Mario from the evil Mario; battling through evil Mario's Mario minions.

I think they will skip March. Not enough new Wii U content to talk about. They may do a smaller 3DS only one though.

March 18th, because that is the final day of "Year of Luigi", I'm also guessing that they will announce a Wii U eShop port of Luigi's Mansion 1 that day as the Year of Luigi's grand finale. The port would actually come out after YOL ends just like NES Remix 2 with Super Luigi Bros is.

EDIT: I just noticed there's quite a few March 22 birthdays in this thread. Mine's on March 23rd.

No Direct this month. Year of Luigi is likely to end with a sale or something. Maybe a Nintendo Minute.

I was going to say they'd skip March, but the end of the "Year of Luigi" might be enough to prompt a little something so sure, I'm betting it all on the 18th!

We just had one. Why do people think we're getting another so soon?

March 28th is my guess, just far enough away to be reasonable imo.

I don't see one happening this month I mean what would they even show.

Well, they could announce another 'Year of ____' if they choose to go that route, if Yoshi for example, show off more Yoshi's Island, Yarn Yoshi, Yoshi in Smash Bros., Yoshi in Mario Tennis, Yoshi in Mario Kart 8, etc. There's plenty to show if Yoshi gets the spotlight.

Eh not this month. I think we'll see one in very early April (like the 1st week), to hype up Kirby, Mario Golf, and Mario Kart 8. Reveal a few new games on both systems, eShop content for both. So no March Direct I'll bet!

And then people would subsequently complain about there being no major announcements or new games shown, this is why I think Nintendo will wait to have a more packed ND.
