Topic: Maleficent or Mizrabel

I've been hearing quite a bit about Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion, but one thing that confounds me, is that they refer to Maleficent as Mizrabel. Does anyone know why?

Also, they're calling her a forgotten Disney villain, when that's far from true. She's played a major role in 3 of the KH games (KH, KH II, & Re:Coded), and has had a presence in 2 others (Chain of Memories, & BBS). That sounds far from forgotten to me, and seems like a snub to the existance of the wildly popular KH series. Any thoughts on this?

Maleficent and Mizrabel are two complexly different characters. Mizrabel was the original villain in Castle of Illusion.

OK then. I just thought they showed a picture of Maleficent when they were talking about Mizrabel, & that probably confused me. Do the characters have a similar appearance?

Her younger form looks like Maleficent.

Yeah.. She is very prominent in the Kingdom Hearts games.

Not only there, she's their most popular villain, she has appeared in lots of cartoons and live shows (she's the main villain in the the daily show "phantasmic" in Disneyland), merchandise and she's even getting her own movie.

No wonder Mizrabel wants to be like her, lol.

Fantasmic is my favorite show at Disney World. We try to see it every year when we go. Maleficent is my second favorite Disney villian. I think Angeline Jolie is playing her in the movie? If true, I'm not sure how I feel about that.
