For those that don't know, in celebration of the release of the final Hobbit movie, Google Play is giving away Fellowship of the Ring for free (all other LotR merch is discounted as well).
It still asks for a payment method though (although it says this is just to determine location). Is this because I'd still have to pay taxes of some sort? I've never had to pay taxes on anything I've bought on eShop (even paid stuff), so I assume the same would hold true here, but I wanted to be sure.
I mentioned this in the Chit-Chat thread as well, but I figured the news was big enough to get it's own thread.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
Good way to promote the new Hobbit movie, I suppose. Anyone who hasn't seen these movies yet though, what are you waiting for? Fellowship of the Ring is one of the greatest films ever made, and Two Towers and Return of the King are fantastic too.
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.
However wrong it may be? Good thing I'm not wrong at all
It's fine if you're into scenery porn with plenty of lore, but if you want character interaction/development you are going to find them sadly lacking. The Hobbit was thoroughly more enjoyable.
