Since Nintendo release the DSi XL in 2009, if they make 3DS XL, would you buy it?

I like the size of the current 3DS so I'd be hesitant if it's much bigger than what it already is.
If they made a new system around the same size as the current one, but a lot more polished and with some additional features and all that, then I'd be much more convinced to get a new model.
I don't really want to buy another system, but the scratches on the screen are becoming more of a problem over time and I'm not too sure if my launch one will really last on me for a long period of time, so I'm hoping they at least give me an option where I can see it and feel that I really want to upgrade to it.
I know I could always just send mine in to get fixed, but I really don't want to go a week or two without it.

i`d consider it if they added the second slider and made the layout a lot less likely to give hand cramps.

Nope. I would buy a 3DS Lite model though. I want it to be portable not enormous.

Nintendo is hardly the only company doing that though. Sony does it with their handhelds, Microsoft does it with their consoles, Apple does it with everything etc. etc.

There's always room for improvement.

Obviously, Sony (and its fans) don't agree with that...The huge PSVita...

It's not THAT big though. From looking at pictures I personally thought it'd be a lot bigger than it actually is. DSi XL is just huuuuge.

Yes, not that it would be all that convenient for putting in your pocket to StreetPass with, but it would be great for playing games at home.

If it had a matte finish, a second circle pad and a decent d-pad, yes.

Probably not at this point. I would love to get one since I don't understand why they made the regular 3DS screen so small, but it would be too much money for me most likely.

No. I never buy redesigns unless its a really big update such as the dsi.

I just bought a 3DS, so I don't plan on getting a new one for a while, and I have no interest in seeing handhelds become larger.

Yeah, a better D-pad, a better camera, improved battery life and maybe a second circle pad would be nice, but I don't have any problems with the 3DS' current "look" and or its size.
