Well, I barely break my systems but here's one weird moment of my history with DSi.
It was Sports Day at school, and I carried my DSi to keep me entertained. My L button wasn't working for about a week so I was miffed that I wouldn't be able to do full-force Mario Kart DS action with other owners who thought they were better than me.Later in the day, my friend and I were hanging nearby the library. He happened to see this bamboo pole close to this huge tree next to the library building. I was listening to music on DSi Sound while watching him try to lift it. It swung up, and the next I noticed was my DSi about 10 feet in the air. It landed on its face, both screens flat on the concrete . I was about to have an anime moment then suddenly I just dusted it off and there wasn't a scratch. The music was still playing as well. The weird thing? My L button was fixed magically by the fall. The only downside was taking 20 minutes to find my stylus that flew about 2 feet away from the impact zone.
I want to add a story to this thread, but the only time anything even close to a system breaking on me was the time my ol' brick of an original Game Boy stopped an assassin's bullet. I beat in his face with the thing, then turned it on and played Tetris while saying "And you thought video games were only for children. Pfft."
Oh where do I begin? I personally have never broken a system but my little bro broke like 5 DS Phats. And I'm pretty sure that every time it was because he threw it at the wall. Sometimes I swear my little brother is schizophrenic (Huzzah for spell-checker!) or something.
