For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...

I used to live near a good import shop which I think is now a bit of a retro shop. It's called Raven Games and I am amazed it's still going because I last went there to import a copy of Super Street Fighter 2!
I only posted this to get my avatar as the forum's thumbnail.
There is this nice one from a local farmers market. They have a lot of games but are usually slightly overpriced. But i have been to a few other than that. There are 2 great ones next to each other at the college I almost went to.
Why is it that Huntersville, North Carolina, never gets a retro game shop? I want some new games for my N64 and Genesis. The last time I bought two N64 games was before "EB games" changed their name to "Game Stop".
I know there HAS to be one in NYC but I haven't looked for them (most of the time I have difficult time looking for a decent Italian restaurant let alone a retro store)
That's the best shot I could find. And that's not even the half of it. This store is MASSIVE....and usually overpriced.
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)
goodbyes are a sad part of life but for every end there's a new beggining so one must never stop looking forward to the next dawn

There is a pretty good retro store, called Save Point Video Games, in the university area of Charlotte. Probably around twenty minutes from Huntersville.

I don't think they have website. I've only found the facebook page as well. The employees are nice and seem knowledgeable. The store also has game tournaments.
There's this one retro video game store, that when you enter it, you go from 3D to 2D, and you go from HD graphics to 8-bit graphics....wow man, that's swelltastic!!!
I made Sheldon & Mr. Randoms back on Flipnote Hatena, now i'm a kangaroo mod that has a funko pop collection!
I'm not keen politics since that stuff is spooky, I'd rather watch SpongeBob over Fox News anyways!
Once. It was overpriced.
There's also a guy at one of the flea markets I go to every now and then, and he usually gives you a decent deal if he likes you or if you buy more than one game.
Other than that I usually just do yard sales, thrift stores and ebay.
I go to B+ games in Bremerton, WA. Place is cool, owners a nice dude. Great to nostaligate, and pick up a few things to support a local small business. Reasonably priced also, in my opinion. But then again, I run a business, so I understand you have to make money to survive, and not everything can or should be free.
