With the Zelda 25th anniversary, it's gotten me thinking (and worrying) about something: To my knowledge, this was the first game pak with a battery to save game information. Supposedly they last for so many years (I've heard different numbers). I've been lucky as can be. All my battery-save games for the NES still work, including The Legend of Zelda. Game saves on two of my Super NES games, Final Fantasy II/IV and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past have messed up, but I think that has to do with some issues with the system. So, my question is: Have any of you had game pak batteries die, leaving you completely unable to make saves? Did you send it to Nintendo for fixing or do anything about it?
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
