My favorite game so far (this entire generation) is Rhythm Heaven Fever! (No More Heroes is a close second, though).
There isn't anything I'm looking forward to in the future. I am, however, looking forward to getting Earthworm Jim next week when I get paid! Also, I'm looking forward to getting Trauma Team and Worms for Wii hopefully before the end of the year. I'm also hoping to have downloaded at least one of the Phoneix Wright Wiiware games (even though they are just the DS games ) before the end of the year.
Idk if you've played the PC version, but you're definitely in for a real treat once it hits the eShop.
No, I actually haven't as I've been holding off to play it on a Nintendo console. 3 years of pants-wettingly long waiting later and I'm still excited as ever. Glad to hear a positive review. I expect to spend hours with this one.
Kid Icarus: Uprising is my favorite game of the year, and my favorite game of the decade so far! Most looking forward to is New Super Mario Bros. U, with NSMB 2 not far behind!
Can we change it to games you got this year? Only two of the games I got so far this year actually came out this year. If not, then my answer is The last story. The other 2012 game I got this year was Rhythm thief and the emperor's treasure.
Since BleachFan mentioned a game that didn't come out this year, the best game I got this year including games that didn't come out this year would be Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Earth on Wii VC which means I like it even more than the likes of The last story and FFIV.
For the Wii, I would have to say Xenoblade obviously. Not only did it have some great gameplay, but the story was very immersive with some high quality voice acting. As for the 3DS, Kid ICarus Uprising has to be my choice simply because of how highly anticipated it was and it did not dissapoint me in the slightest.
As for the rest of 2012, The Last Story has me the most excited because of 5 words: Hironobu Sakaguchi and Nobuo Uematsu. I don't know if it'll be as good as Xenoblade, but hopefully it is. The 3DS though is a very hard choice, but I have to give it to Castlevania Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate. It's not only an interesting game idea using characters from the previous continuity in the new continuity, but also a handhled game that isn't completely Metroidvania! (My two runner ups for the 3DS though would be Shantae on the eshop and Virtue's Last Reward)
FF6: Release year- 1994 Kefka's birthday - November 9th So.... my life is practically mirroring Kefka? Cool.
I was starting to feel like I was in the 3DS section...
Well when the Ps360 has had a dramatic decrease in hyped upcoming games, Wii is dead, no one actually has a Vita and we don't know when any of the wortwhile announced Wii U games (see: Ubisoft and games too cool for the press conference) will be released, I'm not exactly surprised.
