Yeah, I'm looking for any forums that deal with one or more of the following: Retro games, PC games (preferrably DOS or other retro PC games), Xbox 360(or at least XBLA games), Playstation (Preferably PSN, PSOne, PS2, and PSP), and/or Freeware games.
And by "Good", I mean it's fairly easy to have a polite, meaningful conversation with other posters, the site is easy to use and navigate, and there aren't tons of threads bashing competitors' products.
Because a lot of people here don't know much about PC, Xbox 360, or Playstation games, and even questions about retro games can easily go unanswered.
Plus, I'm just not a Nintendo fan, and the Nintendo bias around here is killing me. I mean, I have a DS and a Wii, but only for the 3rd party games. I would've left sooner, but every other forum I've tried so far, mostly the forums to bigger sites, just had horribly abbrasive communties. Seriously, everybody was a jerk to everybody!
Again, if anybody knows of any good Non-nintendo forums, I would greatly appreciate it.
I know how you feel Mickeymac. I've been a PC/Sega/Sony/MS player almost all the time up until this generation... I only have a Wii and DS from this gen, surprisingly. Hah, you can look at my Raptr profile in my sig and you'll see. Looking back it almost seems like I was avoiding Nintendo on purpose (although I wasn't - I loved my NES and GB/GBA).
For gaming discussion I really only visit here and Kotaku though. This community is far more moderate than most, which is why I like visiting here. Also I've really enjoyed the DS the past few years, and recently got a Wii which I love - and both mostly for third-party games too. I can't think of any other non-garbage communities out there... even GameFAQs, which should be console independent has so much junk being flung between fanboys of consoles, series, even characters. That place is the turd of gaming if there ever was one. The FAQs are its only saving grace.
Finally leaving huh? You could always try google and see what comes up.
Dude, I've tried. Problem is Google doesn't filter out the $h!t. Plus, it's much harder to find forums with smaller communities, which tend to be better than ones with large communities, and even then, it's hard to find ones that aren't populated by hackers and pirates(I can't stand hackers). Ugh, I never have this problem when I'm looking for forums for anything else, but for games...
Sorry, man. I forum on the internet that has a good userbase, knows their stuff, and is about video games all in one is almost impossible to come across. Nintendo Life has problems, and it's one of the best. If you go to a site that deals exclusively with a system, you'll get your questions answered, but it'll be overrun with fanboys. I used to be a member on a certain 360 forum and it was seriously more about how the other systems are terrible then about the 360 itself. If it's not exclusive, you'll still have problems. I don't know what to tell you. Still, I hope you find what you're looking for.
Best thread ever
Feel free to add me on Miiverse or PSN.

You'll get no Nintendo-related biasm from me, I guarantee that.
Screwattack forums are pretty good www.screwattack.com
That place is a cult. Before long you'll see 90% of the members in a third world nation drinking poisoned grape drink.
I am the one you despise. I am he who says what you really deep down know but are affraid to admit. I am the Anti-Fanboy, the crusader of truth in a world built on your lies.
I personally like Gametap's forums. You have to be a member, but its a pretty good mixture of old school console and old/current PC gaming. There are not many threads related to Nintendo. Its a good group, and so far every one seems to be polite.
