Topic: favorite starter pokemon? (any starter from any generation count)

what is your favorite starter pokemon and why?

Yeah, this might get locked but i'll add my 2 cents.

Turtwig,why? I just love Torterra. He looks amazing and has cool typing. Torterra is on my top 10 favorite Pokemon list. Earthquake/Woodhammer/Leech Seed man that's a boss combo right there.

I tend to gravitate towards fire types, and it doesn't get any more classic than Charmander. C'mon, everyone knows that Charizard was Pokémon's original bad@ss.

Torchick (gen 3) was pretty cool too, though. I love Blaziken. Also really like Chikorita (gen 2), the only gen I didn't much care for the fire starter.

Haven't played gens 4 or 5.

Bulbasaur will always be number 1! (the Kanto and National Pokedex agree with me)

I mainly like Bulbasaur because I found his character the best out of all of the Ash's Pokemon in the original anime (minus Pikachu), and he's just stuck with me ever since. Almost always pick Bulbasaur at the start of a FR/LG playthrough, and would sometimes trade over a Bulbasaur near the start of another game.

Plus, Venusaur is actually somewhat good in the B/W metagame now, which makes Bulbasaur even better.

For me its a Tie between turtwig and Squirtle those two are my absolute favorites in the evolutions/ battling/ and of course they are both pretty cute. (but I like them most for the other said two)

Hmmm this is tough.. but I may say Oshawott, as I really like Samurott. But it could change day to day ha ha.

for me,it is a 4-way tie between charizard,venusaur,blastoise,and pignite!

i forgot to mention that their evolutions count as well!
