Earthquake experiences? - General Discussion Forum

I'm not someone who freaks out easily, but I am seriously freaking the BLEEP out right now! Last night a little after 2AM, there was a 4.7 earthquake, the epicenter 40 some odd miles southwest of me here in Tulsa. Lasted like 15-20 seconds and seriously shook my house. I'm in Oklahoma. Not California. I expect to worry about tornadoes here. Odd to say the least to experience my first earthquake, but I figured it was a fluke thing. It wasn't. About an hour ago, there was another one, even stronger. This one a 5.2. Almost knocked off a huge mirror in the house. I'm going to have to check around for any structural cracks when it's daylight. I am a bit worried about the earth opening up and swallowing me whole now. As long as no demons try to pull me in, like in "Drag Me To Hell", LOL! Anybody else been through earthquakes, and want to share their experience? Here's the news on the most recent one which was around the same area as the earlier one. I've read comments that it was felt in Kansas and Texas too.
