It'll probably find its audience, and if anything, Sony and RaD were mostly transparent about there being a huge focus on the cinematics. What boggles the mind is that so many people expected more. But I guess it really shows that the gaming populous really wants and expects more gameplay than cinematics these days, which warms the heart somewhat.

I expected this game to have an amazing story,i thought maybe this game will have one good thing that's not the graphics and that might be the story. That's not the case here,it has a terrible story with characters i could care less about. And that actually makes me sad.Ugh this is a bad way to start an expected good year for gaming.
The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
It's 8 degrees outside, my front porch/yard is a sheet of ice, I can just barely get warm inside the house even with the heat blasted... but my school decides to open anyway.
I'm not going because one 50 minute class is not worth that trouble but still... why? It's Friday. Why bother opening when we've already been out of school for the whole week? The county schools are still closed because certain residential areas still aren't safe for kids to travel... why wouldn't this also apply to college students? The city bus system is absolute **** so the closest bus stop to me is a 15 minute walk away on roads which I have no clue of the condition of since I certainly haven't been out walking on them and on top of that, I have to spend over an hour going all the way downtown in the opposite direction just to get on the bus that'll take me back up the street in the direction I'd just come from.
But sure, let's just open today because screw the students without a safe and warm way of transportation. Hope you guys didn't have any exams/projects due!
That was my major disappointment for last weekend. The mainstream romanticizing of abusive/unhealthy relationships is alarming. I can't control the trends out there, all I can do is educate my niece (or any daughter I may have) so she doesn't ever buy into that type of crap when she gets older.
Current Playlist: Age of Calamity, Stardew Valley, ACNH
^A 15 minute walk? Try working out there for 5 hours, with below zero windchill blasting your face the whole time. :/ (At least I get free hot cocao...)

Yeah, a game like that lives and dies by its story...which is kind of why I'm surprised the AAA's think games like that are worth it when a multi-faceted experience theoretically allows for a larger audience...
Well, I know it's kinda old news, but I just found out that Season 2 of the 'Attack on Titan' anime isn't due out until 2016.
On top of that, the 'motion comic' version of the manga I was watching on YT is now only being released one chapter per week.
I mean, there's nothing wrong with reading the manga like normal; it's just that I don't find it anywhere near as exciting without the music.
I told myself I'd leave this site for good, but I have a big story. It's pretty sad, but I guess it's also kinda funny, in a way.
So last friday, a girl asked me out to the graduation dance (it's our last year of high school).
I had a girlfriend, so naturally I turned her down because I promised her I'd wait for her. It was a long distance relationship, but I felt good being able to keep it together. She seemed happy.
The next day, my girlfriend broke up with me. Something about me entering college, not being ready for a long distance commitment, strict parents, and also something about "not being the right girl" for me. Maybe she thought I deserved better, I don't know. We talked it over and decided it was for the best that we split up.
After a weekend of ice cream and learning blues guitar riffs (singing helps me feel better), I decided to ask out that pretty girl who I turned down the other day, hoping she'll still want to go with me after I so awkwardly turned her down. And I guess she was, but by then she'd already agreed to go with one of her friends.
Meanwhile my friends are giving me hugs and being uncomfortably loud about everything. I still enjoy their company, though. I'm going out with a few friends next weekend to get my mind off things, but lately I've just been laughing it off like it was some cruel prank by life. Oh well. Things can only get better from here on, I think.
I'll never forget my friend's hilarious reaction at me turning one of the prettiest girls in school down, that's for sure.
I saw that Team Four Star plays did a video where they play DBZ Xenoverse. literally 5 seconds in, and I figured out why I don't give a crap about TFS' gaming channel. Holy crap, these guys are annoying. In fact, they're a prime example of a sucky let's play channel. They never shut up, they're always trying way to hard to act like an idiot, and constantly competing with eachother for attention. It's like listening to a bunch of monkeys try to out scream eachother...

Well, thats the whole point of the channel :/
Its like complaining about teh fact, that Longplays dont have commentary. They pretty much just act as their hyperactive, overplayed "personas". And comparing TFS, the crew behind DBZ Abridged to Monkeys is rather fitting
