Yesterday I was on Club Nintendo, and I saw the latest "intend-to-buy" thing, which was Mario Tennis Open. I really want to get that, so I did the survey. In the survey, there was a question asking when you intend to get the game. I checked the box that said 2-4 weeks after release, since my birthday was around then and I could use my birthday money to get the game. That, however, would actually be around 5 weeks after the release, and it says that

Remember - you must indicate your intent to buy within the Intend-to-Buy date range listed for each game to be eligible for the extra Coins.

Well I believe the longest length of time specified by a box was 3 months. I'll definitely be getting it within 3 months. Is that what you meant?
@dark-insanity I just realized you're thinking of the Early Register thing, or whatever its called. That's when you get 10 extra coins when you register the game within 4 weeks of its release.
@Tasuki I contacted Club Nintendo, no response yet.
Thanks for writing, and for your patience in receiving this response. Club Nintendo members can only earn Coins from Intend to Buy surveys when they complete the associated Product Registration survey within 4 weeks of the game's launch. The reason for the time limit is that our company needs to receive the information from these surveys in a timely manner for them to be beneficial to our business needs.
Sincerely,

Thanks for the info. If that is the case, it does not make sense to get those surveys, as I seldom register a game within 4 weeks, if I buy it that soon, that is.
Specially not when I am a Platinum member already. I have a bunch of games I have not registered as I am waiting for July 1st for my status to reset.
I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.
@sinalefa Yeah, I'm definitely not getting the game within 4 weeks. I'll just wait for my thing to reset - already Gold (first Elite status! woohoo!) and there's no way I'll be a Platinum member by the end of the year - 180 more coins to go! I'll just save it for July.
