It should be pretty obvious what this thread entails; it is a Choose Your Own Adventure style story thread, in which I will set up a story, give some options at a given point, and then you will pick what happens next. Then I'll post the next bit of the story, some more options, and so on. How it'll go is upon giving the options, you can all give your answer, and the answer with the most "votes" will be picked. And if somehow there's a tie, the first reply will decide what happens next.
Anyways, the options will be whatever I come up with, and I'll try to vary them. And in ALL of the stories the character(s) can die (or just fail whatever you were trying to do). If this happens, I will ask if I should continue the story (in which case I will simply pick up on the last post and allow you guys to pick a different option) or start a new one.
So, let's begin!
You wake up in a very large bedroom, in a king size bed, alone. The bed is soft, and the room is cool, with a slight breeze rolling in from a nearby window. The curtains are closed, but from the looks of it, you figure it must be night. It's dark, but not too dark, and you can just make out the details of the room. There's a wardrobe at the far end of the room, a nightstand with a lamp on it to your right, and a door to your far left. Apart from that, the room is barren, at least from what you can tell, and it doesn't like it's been used much, though it raises the question as to why you're here, and where here is.
A) Turn on the lamp. B) Get up and search the wardrobe. C) Get up and open the door. D) Stay in bed. E) Get up and open the curtains.

“The revolution is not an apple that falls when it is ripe. You have to make it fall.” - "Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them."
You stay in bed for a moment, trying to get yourself fully awake. After a few more seconds you decide to move, stepping out of the bed and standing up. You decide to first check the wardrobe, walking slowly over to it in the darkness. It was old, that's for sure, but it had a certain appeal to it, and the detailing was quite nice. It had 2 drawers on the bottom, and a cupboard on the top, but the top drawer was locked. You were about to open the cupboard when you heard a sound that made your heart stop ... the sound of a small child crying. It was very clear too, and VERY close. It was eerie, if not terrifying. But what's worse, the crying was coming from in the wardrobe cupboard. You stepped back, trying to keep quiet, unsure of what was in there.

You take a deep breath, and move your hand towards the cupboard handle. It was a child's sobs, right? What harm could it do? Well, at least that's what you were trying to convince yourself. You grab hold of the handle, take one more breath, and pull it quickly open. Inside the cupboard was a horrifying sight; it looked like a child, sure, but it was entirely black, almost like a shadow, and it had a haze to it, like a thin veil of smoke. What's worse was it was skeletal, with sharp needle-like points protruding from its skull, elbows, and spine. It was crouched in the fetal position in the cupboard, sobbing, but its cries stopped the moment you opened the cupboard, and it slowly turned its head to look at you. You expected glowing red eyes, but instead there was nothing, just sunken eye sockets. You stared at it in horror, unable to move. But you had to do something.
A) Attack it. B) Run to the bedroom door. C) Close the cupboard.

Out of instinct you swing your fist towards the creatures face, hoping to at least knock it down long enough to get out of there. Your first plows through its head, crumbling it as if it were ash. You hesitate for a moment wondering why it went down so easily, but quickly step back just in case. You stare at the creatures headless body, wondering if you had killed it, when you feel a sharp pain in your arm. Looking down at it, you see that the black ash the creature had collapsed into wasn't ash at all, but millions of little spiders. They begin biting at your flesh, ripping your arm apart piece by piece, quickly moving up your arm and onto the rest of your body. You scream out, but that only grants the spiders access to your mouth, which they quickly climb into. You fall to the ground, writhing in pain as they devour you, and looking up, the last thing you see before the spiders get to your eyes is the headless body of that black creature waving slowly goodbye to you.
It's a sad thing that your adventures have ended here!! Shall I retry that, or start a new story?

Hmmm...quite a dramatic and speedy ending that was! Good writing Shadx. I like all the drama. At lest we went out with a bang of sorts, howbeit a gruesome one lol.
Ah, I vote to move on. Let's have a new story of adventure!
Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD's servant? Isaiah 42:19
