I'm mostly making this thread for some feedback of a game I just thought up now (at 3:30AM), but also because I'm curious as to any games you guys have made. Try and provide detail and even a rule sheet as I use below so that others can try them if they want!

-Domination-

Description: A "War" inspired domino game featuring a bit more strategy than the classic card game.

Set up: Deal out all the dominoes to each player, face down. If a tile is left over, flip it. The player the greater end faces will receive the tile. If both ends are equal, it will be discarded(5). Set up your dominoes in any fashion you want; so long as they all remain on your side of course. Players may not look at their tiles(1).

How to play: Play is done by flipping over any tile you want so that one end faces you, and one end faces your opponent. The end facing your opponent is the tiles "attack", the end facing you is the tiles "defense". If the attack of your tile is greater than the defense of an opponents, their tile will be "defeated", and discarded(2). If the attack of your tile is lesser than or equal to the defense of an opponents, their tile will survive and both tiles will be returned.

If both tiles attack do not exceed the others defense, both tiles will be returned to the players(3)(4). If both tiles attacks DO exceed the others defense, both tiles will be removed(4).

Goal: To be the last player standing or to have the most tiles when the game is stopped.

Alternate rules (mix and match!):
(1)Players may look at their tiles for a more strategic game.
(2)Instead of discarding tiles, victorious players may take all defeated tiles for their own.
(3)Used tiles may be kept flipped over for all players to see.
(4)Instead of returning or removing tiles when a tie occurs, a "war" may be initiated wherein players place down 3 extra tiles face down, and then flip over a fourth. If the fourth tile wins, that player will defeat/receive all placed tiles. If the tiles tie in survival, then 4 more tiles will be placed. If the tiles tie in death, all tiles will be removed or 4 more tiles will be placed.
(5)A "war" may be used in place of this for a slanted battle.

Rules for 3 or more players: Play is done basically the same, with players placing tiles with one end facing them. All tiles are used at once, and if even one tile is capable of killing your tile, then it will be defeated. If one tile remains undefeated and players are using the rule in which defeated tiles are taken by the winner, it will take all defeated tiles. If two or more tiles somehow survive, both tiles will be returned, or a war will be initiated.

I made a sort of Snakes & Ladders inspired bored game once, drew it on a whole big sheet of stiff card and coloured it and all. Only twist is, it was car themed, and had different actions added on to it to match, e.g. 'Sent back to Garage, go to square 15', 'You fell down a manhole, drop to the lower adjacent square', 'Stopped by roadside police, miss a turn', etc. Players used a small car model as their board piece, and tried to get to square 100 with each roll of the die. Ta-da.
