Topic: Bad Arcades/Prize Games

C'mon, you know you've played at least one.
There's a claw game at my train station with Pokmeon figures, so I figured "Hey, what the heck", and put in a dollar. But this claw was possibly the weakest claw on the face of the planet, and had the slowest reaction time, too. I tried at least 6 times on different figures in the bin, but it never worked.
I raged and never played it again.

I have the worst luck with those games. One time I was at a bowling ally with friends and family. My cousin's girlfriend saw it,tried it and one a stuffed thing. So my brother tried and won one too. I tried and lost. I tried two more times and still nothing. My cousins girlfriend ended up winning again after me.
Another time I was at a pizza place waiting in line for my order. I noticed a Patrick Star plush so I tried to win it. Nothing happened. Tried again,turned out it was defective. I have never won of those. I think it's mostly my fault more then the machines though.

Lol yeah, those claws are all made super-weak nowadays. I played a similar machine once where you'd move a little pincer blade to cut the string on toys dangling from the top of the machine. Got it lined up perfectly three times, but the blade was completely blunt, so it didn't even damage the string xD

I read a letter in an issue of Nintendo Power and one guy one a copy of Super Smash Bros. Brawl for $5. But after he won it, it was defective so it wouldn't give it to him. So he had to wait around two hours for someone to show up and get it for him because if he moved someone else might play it and mess it up. He says it was the best $5 he ever spent.

I remember winning a little plush chihuahua from one of those machines when I was a kid, but only because it was dangling by the prize hole and I knocked it over with the claw...

I once won a mini tootsie roll at a play-til-you-win claw machine for 25 cents! know, I know, i'm amazing.

Pssh, a mini one? My hair cutter has those in a bin for free.
