Well, let me put it this way: imagine a man running a marathon, coming up from behind the pack until he's finally in the lead.

Then only a few feet away from the finishline, he veers off the track and starts dryhumping a bear.

Your welcome.

^This. So much.

Honestly, I didn't really like Oreimo that much to begin with. It was a slightly above-average little spice-of-life comedy with an unfortunate (and mostly shoe-horned for anyone besides Kuroneko) harem spin in the second season. The undertones (you know which ones) were always there, too. For a while, though, it managed to be as if it was a play on people's expectations, thankfully not delivering on those undertones. But that ending... I didn't know whether to do a slow clap or shake my hands in fury. It's like the ending was so bad that it couldn't please any person watching, regardless of their opinions on the series or where they wanted it to go. It truly is a sight to behold, at the very least. Just like dryhumping a bear.

I'm liking that the current arc of Attack on Titan is playing up the political ramifications of the titans impact on the world around them, rather than being The Walking Dead with Giants. [spoiler]I'm hopng we get more info on the world outside the wall soon[spoiler]

I've been reading Beserk and I love high fantasy that downplays the Fantasy bits in favor of world building. However I doubt we see the end of the series since the writer writes on the samtime line as GRRM.

Also do you guys have a favorite anime director/showrunner? Mine has to be Leiji Matsumoto. He mostly focus on Space Opera's but his talent pool of work is incredibly and his desgins tend to have a really otherworldy feel to them.

Space Battleship Yamato
Galaxy Express 999
Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem
Space Captain Harlock

all i know about it is that I get it confused with Antique Bakery, which i have seen a little bit of. I googled it just then and found a bar near where I live, which looks nice. The premise for the show sounds decent as well, I might check it out someday.

I also read the premise for Terror in Resonance. I am so hyped for next season now.

always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)

@shingi_70 - My favorite Director is Tomino, obviously. Besides doing a lot of great mech shows, he also has some pretty good novels. Yes, he has a perchant for weird designs and seems to let lousy dialogue slide, especially by the finale, but overall his works always seem really well-thought out and just come together so well. His shows always have a lot of attention to detail, intricate and believable stories, and excellent mecha fighting.

Mobile Suit Gundam
Space Runaway Ideon
Aura Battler Dunbine
Xabungle
Zeta Gundam
ZZ Gundam
Char's Counter Attack
Victory Gundam
Garzey's Wing
Brain Powered
Turn A Gundam

Are all the ones I've seen at least some of from him. Brain Powered was the only one I didn't like, though obviously Garzey's Wing was pretty bad (just ironically enjoyable).

I still need to see Heavy Metal L-Gaim and Overman King Gainer, and while L-Gaim is supposedly Zeta Gundam-lite, Gainer is supposed to be pretty good, pacing issues aside.

Watching Knights of Sidonia. The people are plants, btw. I don't even need a spoiler for that, because it isn't an important plot point at all. They just photosynthesis because. Just like how they have a talking bear with a robot arm because. And the protagonist's love interest has no gender and reproduces asexually which you would think would lead to an interesting drama but it doesn't because.

Seriously, the weird little details that don't seem to really seem to add to anything aside, this show has been pretty interesting. In fact, this might be the first non-OVA mecha anime since Eureka Seven that I could confidently call "good", provided it stays on course.

Well after an entire year I finally went back and finished Watamote. That was funny. ...Not much else to say really other than I'm much more happy with my life after witnessing Tomoko's lol.

If I wrote that series, I would not be strong enough to keep that status quo, even for the sake of comedy.
