Oh, right. The "wrapping up music recording this weekend" was tweet last week, meaning last weekend...duh.
Do we know who's localizing it? Because if it is 8-4 or whoever it was that handled X, then it'll be a very late 2017 title. I'm just going off of what's happened in the past.
At this point I feel like Nintendo's E3 thing is going to be one big ''Please understand'', keeping expectations low, like lower than expecting an E3 2015 low.
@Octane I think this E3 can turn out really well, if expectations are kept in check. Expecting Mario Odyssey, Mario + Rabbids, Xenoblade 2, Fire Emblem Warriors and Splatoon 2 should leave most satisfied. Expecting Stars to somehow be revealed for Switch, a Metroid, F-Zero and Mother 3 for Switch by December of 2017 will definitely lead to disappointment. I'm optimistic, because I'm excited to see Mario, Xeno and Fire Emblem Warriors. I'd be happy with that. I'd love surprises, but I'm not expecting much.
@MarcelRguez A new Odyssey trailer is the only thing I'm looking forward to that's a given. I thought a Metroid announcement was possible, but I don't think we'll see it. Maybe Pikmin 4, that's what I'm hoping for, but I don't want to be disappointed.
@MarcelRguez No, that was just me thinking Ninty got their Metroid shenanigans right for once. And Reggie hinting at it something Metroid related.
On Pikmin 4, it's a separate thing. The Pikmin team is working on something, and we know it's not Hey! Pikmin. Plus Miyamoto openly talked about Pikmin 4 not being a high priority last year (this was pre-Switch), I assume they're bringing the game back for Switch. And since Miyamoto also stressed it was close to completion almost two years ago, I can't imagine a reveal being too far off.
@Grumblevolcano ARMS and Pokken probably won't get more than a passing mention in the presentation, as there's not much to talk about and the main focus for those will be the tournaments. Splatoon 2 might have something, but again the tournament is where the focus is for that game.
Xenoblade 2 and FE Warriors I doubt will take up more than 3-4 minutes combined. That basically leaves Super Mario Odyssey and Mario + Rabbids, the latter of which is technically a new announcement.
Legend of Zelda: Low Cuban? Oh boy! That sounds amazing! Wii Pound U? That's gonna be good. s
I really hope no one fell for that last year. The naming and everything is just lazy and weird. Don't know if they tried making it sound like codenames or something. Have any of these lists leaked yet for this year? I love looking at them and laughing.

That was from 2015 actually, lol

Keep it PG-13-ish.
@MarcelRguez Pikmin 4 exists. It's Miyamoto's OCD pet project. There's no way he isn't going to make it because he simply wishes to make it, and Iwata indulged his whims, and now he IS the top of software and nobody can tell him no. Even if they never announce it and never reveal it for sale, it's a guarantee that in the vaults it exists.
Though I want to hear more about Jaguar Attraction for WiiU. Logic tells me it's a Japan-only dating sim/hostess-club not suitable for western audiences. I want it to be an updated release of Atari Jaguar games.
@DarthNocturnal NO! 2 is by far the worst entry. Pikmin is all about managing your Pikmin, time and days. Those dungeons completely did away with the time mechanic, and you had unlimited days. I'm glad 3 returned to its origins, and it's by far the best entry in the franchise for that reason. I hope 4 expands on 1 and 3.
@DarthNocturnal I feel that, even with the time limits in the first and third game, they are very forgiving. Especially this third game. It's adds a little pressure, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone get a game over on that game. It's part of the Pikmin franchise, I'd hate to see it go (again).
@Tsurii I think a dungeon would be neat, but maybe just one, like the Cave of Ordeals from TP. 50 (or a 100) floors with enemies and puzzles. It would act more as a challenge than an actual dungeon from Pikmin 2. Have it located somewhere on the map (or accessible from the menu screen as a separate challenge mode).
MH5 either needs to scale down the health of G rank monsters when you're fighting them solo or else get rid of the time limit. There's nothing more annoying than having a fun, challenging hunt with an endgame monster and then running out of time because they're damage sponges balanced around three or four players.
Never played Pikmin 2. The first game was a bit stressful, but I felt like Pikmin 3 was pretty forgiving with its timer. It wasn't terribly difficult to build up extra materials for times when you want to explore or have a hard time figuring out how to progress through a level.
