Just a subject that has been brewing in my mind but I'm wondering how many players use Aim Assist. I find it quite frustrating when snipers use aim assist because it's rather cheap when they quick scope. I've been playing COD Ghosts on the Wii U and it grinds my gears how great the aim of some of these snipers are. So the question stands, do you use aim assist and what is your opinion of it?
be thankful they didn't make a shot homing option for FPS yet!
but seriously they should make an option to only play with people without aim assist that'd be helpful!(of course this option would instantly turn off the player's aim assist too)

Aim assist is kind of essential for consoles, since aiming with sticks is horrible.
In COD Ghosts you can disable Aim Assist. I have done so and yes my aiming is a little slow than say a mouse and keyboard but I've still managed a 2.0 kdr sometimes. So essential, it is not. It is kind of scary not to use it on a console but I assure you that once you get accustomed to it being off, your kills feel so much better. You work harder for them but they are more rewarding.
