Watching the Olympics is always interesting. I've learned that things like table tennis, synchronized swimming, equestrian events and rhythmic gymnastics are considered sports by some people.

That's because some people understand the definition of sport.

I'm glad the Olympics is there to educate the rest.

Watching the closing ceremony. I've always wondered what atheletes from more secluded countries (like North Korea) think of experiencing these events, when their governments usually villify and outlaw influences from other cultures (such as the music being played in the ceremonies).

Well the closing ceremony was ok to me. I didn't know too many of the performers except for The Spice Girls and Queen and John Lennon. I thought the opening ceremony was alot better.
