Lightning Bolt strikes again!

I absolutely HATE NBC for not showing the race live. Very, very stupid to overlook one of the most anticipated events in the Olympics.

Well, they didn't even show any of Phelps' races live (that I know of), so it really shouldn't come as any surprise.

Still stinks though, I'll admit.

That's why I have been watching mostly on my phone and my computer. I just watch the live streams. I just watch nbc to see the stories of the athletes.

I would love to watch all Olympics games very much and i supported Brazilian football team always just one few games remaining to win at gold medal at London. I'm proud of my country too ,they are already joined in Olympic games.

Well tomorrow is the last day overall how would you rate these Olympics? For me I wish I could have watched more but from what I saw it was just Meh. My biggest problem was NBC's coverage of the games it seems like all they would cover at night anyways was swimming and track. I wish they had move variety for the primetime coverage like they did during the day.

The host country I think did a wonderful job and that opening ceremony was great and I can't wait for the closing one tomorrow.

So what do you all think?

To be fair, Nine Australia and FOXTEL had great coverage of our Aussie athletes. I loved the games, just wish Australia could have racked up a few more gold

No they didn't.

All I really had the opprotunity to watch was the primetime stuff like swimming, gymnastics, and track. They're great, but I just got burnt out quick. Basketball & Soccer also got a lot of playtime (they even had exclusive channels), but neither sport is really special.

As for the stuff I was interested in, I got to see a little bit of Boxing, Fencing, Badminton, & BMX, but not enough to really enjoy them. I didn't even get to see any Judo, Archery, or Shooting events.

A few days ago on the news, I heard they were actually thinking about making Tetris an Olympic sport . While they were at it, they mentioned some wierd events that used to be included such as Tug of War, Pigeon Shooting, & City Planning (not sure how that got in there).

Olympic Tug of War would be the best event ever.
[wow wikipedia says it was an actual olympic event from 1900 until 1920, so it could totally happen]

Anyways, Mexico won at least one gold medal, yay.

And in soccer of all things. Hurray for stereotypes!
No of course not. In all seriousness it was a great win. My house was roaring with cheer. If only I was more into the Olympics.

My favourite events this year were the Rhythmic Gymnastics and Handball

A bit of a disappointing Olympics for Canada: only 1 gold medal, and a lot more bad luck than good luck. I think on average our athletes did pretty well at regularly cracking the top 10, but it would have been nice to see a few more gold medals.

The Olympics are incredibly boring after the first 3-4 days.

I don't know why I don't do Rhythmic Gymnastics.

Spain better seriously up Ibaka's minutes if they want any sort of chance of beating the US for the gold.

Male Rhytmic Gymnastics is not an Olympic sport.

It is awesome to watch though. YouTube the Japanese. Male Rhytmic Gymnastics is heavily inspired by wushu. I want to do it now.
