I've had a few requests in recent weeks to include Canadian prices in our weekly North American download updates. It's something I'm happy to do, but our NA staffers are in the U.S. and the Nintendo Canada website is out of date, to put it politely. I'm looking for a volunteer that'll happily send us the Canadian prices (Wii U and 3DS, or either, whatever's possible), which we'll add as and when they're available after the article has gone live.
If you are in Canada and fancy helping us (and your fellow Canadian Nintendo fans) out, drop us a line on the Contact Form.
lol, to put it lightly. Its been a joke of a website for years, always feels like I'm a few years in the past when I've gone or been directed there. I try to go to the U.S. one when I go to the Nintendo website to get things up to date.
Sounds good Thomas. I might not be the fastest (Curse you buses) but I'll help out with that if I can.

I don't have access to a Canadian eShop, I don't have the time to email alot and I don't usually check out the eShop anyway. But I'll help out when I can.
I wouldn't mind if they were just as quick to lower prices when the C$ goes up, but we were paying the same prices on the eShop when the C$ was worth more than the US$, and all those Wii games they priced at C$60/US$50 stayed at C$60 even when our dollar was worth more than the US$, so I'm pretty ticked about how quick they were to do this when the C$ went down. Honestly I think this is a stupid move raising prices on games that were already released, because if we didn't buy them when they were released, we obviously won't now.
@iphys - It only seems to be some titles but they did raise some, seems to mainly be older games with newer ones being left alone on the 3DS not to say that won't change. I'm with you there, if the prices dropped when we had the dollar advantage I wouldn't be bothered as much either. Guess I'll be watching for more sales and Club Nintendo rewards for grabbing games.

Maybe that was their plan: increase the prices on old lame games like Kersploosh, Sparkle Snapshots, and Tokyo Crash Mobs that we wouldn't have bought anyway to send us all into a frenzy to buy up all the other games and VC before the prices go up too.
When it comes to 3DS games, all Nintendo's digital-only titles have been raised, with the exception of the Louvre guide, and Pokemon Rumble Blast.
No Virtual Console games have been raised. Same goes with Retail Games (With the exception of Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy and Yoshi's New Island, which already received it on their launch) and DSiware titles.
There seem to be only a few exceptions: Pokedex Pro, Louvre Guide, Chibi-Robo Photo Finder, Pokemon Battle Trozei, Pokemon Rumble U, Dr. Luigi, and the DLC games (Sub Wars, Rusty's Real Deal, and Wii Sports Club).
Thanks, Nintendo. Good thing I mainly buy VC, but I got Trozei because they didn't raise the price.
Now I'll be waiting for sales more and more.

They also increased Pokemon Rumble U. It is now $20, which is appalling, because Canadians are already limited to not being able to buy the figures at EB Games.
@TopLaytonsHat - They all came out that way actually or at least Wakedas, Yumi's Odd Odyssey and Tappingo for sure. I don't even remember Quell Reflect
