Topic: Rummikub First Impressions

Anyone get it yet? I have 900 points to burn, so if it is good, I think I am gonna get it as I enjoy the real version of the game, although I am debating on getting a Tower Defense game instead.

I downloaded it and it is very enjoyable. It has been many a year since I last played it and a tutorial round would have been nice, but it is easy to pick up and play.

Oooooh!! I didn't realise that came out in NA. I love that game. It's probably my favourite game to play on my computer. I hope it turns out good, and I hope it comes out in the UK soon.

I've gotten some more play time in the game and it is fun to play. The only thing that really does not make sense is the whole medals thing. It says right now that I have 4 medals for winning 4 games (and with the AI on easy, that is not as easy a task) but there are no pics of medals or anything. Kind of disappointing. A mission mode would have been nice too or some unlockable something. I figured for 800 points there would be a bit more to the game. It is still fun though.

Spent more time yesterday playing the game. It looks like medals won means games won. And it looks like for every 5 games you win, something gets unlocked. So far I have unlocked a background and a useable avatar.

Been playing more of the game. I noticed that you can save your game, which is nice. One thing about that is that you can go back and finish, but let's say you are done and turn off the game, you turn it back on and your saved game is there waiting. This means that you can play a game and get close to winning and save it. Then come back and win and leave and win and leave. Interesting glitch indeed. Also, at one point after winning a game a message came up saying that if I win 50 games that I would be master of the Rummikub universe or something. I have won 39, so look out world.
