I've done some minor animation in the past and similar resources were pretty helpful.
It's not specific to Flipnote, but without drawing the mouths to correctly represent the individual sounds in the words, it won't be very convincing. Once you know what the mouth should look like at which point in the sound clip, it's just a matter of trial and error to get them to match up. Good luck!
I normally record the audio first, then draw the mouths one at a time. Trying to sync up your words with an already existing animation can be difficult.
