I'll keep this short.

The game is basically a collection of 150+ levels that combine shmup, platforming, and puzzle elements into one. Bullets fly everywhere and your poor DS WILL slow down. Which is probably a good thing, because it's way too easy to die.

I've never played a Bangai-O game before. So this game was a bit new to me. The fact that everything was open was a bit of a shock. "You mean I don't need to progress?" Nope. "I don't need to level up?" Nope. "I don't need to collect weapons?" That's what I'm saying. EVERYTHING is open from the get-go. Just pick your level and go.

If your reaction to the title is anything like mine it will go something like this:

  • Um. WTF is this?
  • Huh. So I shoot stuff?
  • Wait, no I death blossom stuff.
  • Ok, I don't get it.
  • Ok, I sorta get it.
  • Damn, this is !@#@!% hard.
  • Ooooh, I see. GO FASTER!
  • MWHAHAHAHA!!! BOOM! CRASH! KA-BLOOEEE!!!!
  • Must... play... ONE. MORE. LEVEL!!!! ARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!

If that made no sense what-so-ever, that's okay. Neither does the game. But you'll get addicted to blowing everything up!

I love how they let you save and transfer levels. That's really clever. Haven't played the game myself, but it looks interesting.

I've had this for a while now. It really is a great game. The level editor is really easy and fun to use. And it's so addictive.
