I just tried the demo for James Cameron's "Avatar" on the DS, and it was surprisingly well done!
The controls are almost the same as Phantom Hourglass's control scheme, the combat is less than fantastic but still fine (though only one or two types of enemies appear in the demo), and some of the items you find are used to solve environmental puzzles for opening doors to the next area. This is obviously my quick summary of the game, but fans of Phantom Hourglass may want to give the game a shot.
I trid it today. I was pretty underwhelmed. It looks and feels like a ripoff of the Zelda DS titles. Sound was less than good. Visuals weren't too bad, but it looked a bit too kid-friendly for such an action-packed film.
