Topic: Alarm Clocks / DSi Sound question

My real alarm clock is loud and has a frightening beeping sound. I bought the Mario Clock so I could use my DSi as my morning alarm clock. I have been cycling between the three Mario tunes each week for a very long time now.

Anyway I heard you could use your own sounds as the alarm. I put two songs on my SD card but there doesn't seem to be a way to use them as the alarm. It only allows recorded sounds. I tried to use DSi Sound to save the songs to the DSi but there is no option to do that. Is there any way around this?

If the Alarm Clocks only allow recorded sounds, does that mean my alarm can only be ten seconds maximum?

Thanks for your help.

You know, you didn't have to buy Mario Clock for an alarm... Go to Settings -> Page 2 -> Alarm....

I'm aware of that. I used the default alarm while I was traveling. The alarm sound is a beeping noise, as usual.

Really?

Well that's lame.

How do you do that?

Just record a sound clip on DSi Sound. On the Mario Clock, you click Alarm Sound and then Saved Sounds. It's probably the same for the other downloadable clocks.

If you're wondering how you do it with the default clock, then you can't. It only has the beeping sound.

Yeah, thought so.
