Topic: Animated avatars

You can filter google image searches by size, so that makes google a good place to look in my opinion.

Someone said that this is an animated avatar thread.

Mine isn't animated. It's just awesome.

Actually, if you want, you can get only .gif results in google images if you go to search tools and change the Image Type to "Animated".

If someone can help me get this

to work as my avatar, I'd be very appreciative! I've tried changing the dimensions, but the thumbnail version (the version that appears next to posts) is always either partially cut off or not there at all - and it never animates...

@Gioku From my experiences, the whole cutting off thing is fixed by reuploading the avatar. The reason it doesn't animate is probably because the file size is above 60KB. If you can optimize it to either exactly 60KB or below, it should animate.

Sure, it may look a bit janky when enlarged, but I think shrinking it down to 80x80 helped it quite a bit.
