hello !

im currently playing Zenonia, and i must say i am more than surprised. For what i thought it would be a simple hack and slash game ended to be a freaking good rpg !

im totally hooked, the game's good. it reminds me the snes era. reminds me a bit ragnarok online too.

anyone knows if zenonia 2 will appear on the eshop ? i want it so bad.

I liked Zenonia but it got rather boring and shallow and I still haven't picked it back up again yet. I might do some point in the future, I would like to see Zenonia 2, but maybe for a cheaper price than £7.20... just too high of an asking price for what you get overall.

really ? well im not disapointed so far. its simple yeah, but really like a snes game.
kinda like the story too. its not epic and all, but much better than a lot of games nowadays.

I would like it more if it wasn't for all the English errors and enemies hitting me from 5 feet away. o_O It's not entirely bad, I just wish there was more to it, it feels too much kill this, kill that, kill this, level up, kill this, kill that, boss, kill this, kill that, need new weapon, kill this, armour broke... feels so boring and monotonous.

If you tweet at gamevil they may bring it out. I know i mentioned it to them and they said it's possible. I hope Zenonia and the sequels get a cave story type of revamp for the eshop

I'd totally buy it.
I really enjoyed the first one on my 3DS, so then I tried one of them on my Android phone but sadly (as I expected) touch screen only controls were completely terrible as I usually find them to be for nearly every game.
I'd definitely buy a eShop release (or even DSiWare... if Nintendo let me play DSiWare games from my SD card).

I bought the first one on my iPod, but the virtual buttons were horrendous. Is the DSiWare version really worth it?

It's a good game when you can actually move where you want to.

If you have an Android phone with a slide out keyboard, like I do, then Zenonia, Zenonia 2 and Zenonia 3 are easily among the best games on Google Play. For everyone else, I hope they release them on the eShop or DSiWare shop.

@bro2dragons: Also, don't forget that both Zenonia 3 and Zenonia 4 are free for Android users. I also got Zenonia 2 for free for Android from Amazon also.

If Gamevil ends up releasing Z2 for the 3DS eShop, I'll pick it up just for principle since they make great games and I'd want to encourage them to port to 3DS.

As good as Gamevil's mobile phone games are though, don't even get me started on Kairosoft's games...nothing absorbs my time more effectively than Kairosoft's games.

What is the meaning of life? That's so easy, the answer is TETRIS.

zenonia for dsiware is a really good game but i still have some controll problems.

especially when trying to get a quick health potion. i still dont understand why it doesnt work properly though i am pressing the buttons mentioned in the manual

it gets a little time to use it efficiently.

R button to switch between quick attacks or quick items.
hold L + A, L+Y, L+B, L+X tu use 1 of the 4 quick slot.

where its mostly confusing is the a b x y order that doesnt quite fit naturally with the quick slot bar.
i hope they correct this with the next installment. Which they stayed positive in a reply they made on their forum post.

It will very likely happen, but
currently there are no dates set for ZENONIA 2 on the DSiWare platform.
Yet.

Isn't Zenonia 2 free on iPhone?

Maybe, but the whole iOS factor is what makes it a no buy (lack of buttons and all that jazz).

I hate the Zenonia games. Plays like a cheap cellphone game, poor audio (music loops every 8 seconds ugh), oddball controls... just.. horrendous and I regret getting the game.

Ironic how the main character's name is Regret.

Anyhow, have not bothered with the 2nd, and I played a little of the 3rd game on my phone- disliked it too. The dialogue and story was so cheesy...

Those who want Zenonia 2 on eShop, well.. if you have an iOS or Android device, might as well get it there as they are both free. Unless you just want the traditional controls to play the game with.

@sykotek I'd love some eShop Kairosoft ports.

I'd rather have the fourth one. It's free for android devices (and ipad/ipod i believe), and you can pay for some boosts to help you if you need it. I'd like to ee that done, the fourth one has a much better graphical style aswell, it makes it a lot easier to deal with control errors.

It's not going to happen. Gamevil has made it quite clear that it is going down the free-to-play, microtransaction-supported development path. Nintendo has made it clear that's not going to happen on eShop.

In other words, ladies and gentlemen, we have what is called an impasse.
