After doing some digging I realized there is a ton of inazuma eleven games out there. Seems to be quite a succesful title.
Which is your favorite game? Which one would you recommend to get into the series? Is there any point of owning two inazuma games like firestorm and blizzard for example? Have you played more than one game?
So the first one. Can I just say that that game has my favorite Motoi Sakuraba soundtrack ever?
I see, didnt know that! - In Europe there is a whole lot of inazuma games, it kinda bothers me that they are bringing out two games with minor difference between each other, so you never know which to buy...
Similar to what Pokemon does? I didn't know they did that.
I'm with @iKhan in that I've only played the one that got released in NA--the first game in the series. I haven't finished it yet, but I absolutely adore it. I definitely have to start playing it again.
yes, there are two versions of
Inazuma eleven 2 - firestorm/blizzard
Inazuma eleven 3 - lightning bolt/bomb blast
Inazuma eleven go - dark/shadow
Inazume eleven go 2 - thunderflash/wildfire (to be released in EU soon)
and then there inazuma eleven team ogre attacks
so, as you can see, there is a ton of games, and even though the premise is interesting to me (soccer seems to be way more popular in EU than in the US) the amount of games is overwhelming - the number of games wouldnt bother me actually, but its the fact that they seem to be released in a pair and certainly I dont want to buy both games which are basically the same games with minor differences. IMHO they should always bring out just one game...
I've only played the first and Firestorm, though I didn't get far in the latter. The series is just too samey on DS; I may pick up Ogre and move onto Go.

IMO, it's fun, but it really outlives it's welcome. I'm about 20+ hours in, and there is still a lot to go.
Also, I feel like IE has a lot of Pokemon-esque aspects to it.
Currently Playing: Steamworld Heist, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Tales of Graces F
The double version thing is similar to Pokemon, especially since the biggest difference between versions is most likely the different characters for each version; but differently from Pokemon, in Inazuma Eleven you never even get a glimpse of which characters you are missing, so each version feels more like a complete experience than a game lacking something.
Personally anyway I loved most firestorm; IE 2 was a great step up from the first title and I had a very hard time stop playing it. IE 3 is still very good, and also add some interesting new features, but it also has, weirdly, some steps back from the prequels and overall the serie start to get a bit repetitive after two games, making hard to fully enjoy a third one .
To be fair however I only started yesterday the first GO title, so my opinion is only based on the first trilogy. So far anyway I have to admit that the first GO game feels enough fresh to be very enjoyable again for a fan like me, but I highly doubt I'll like it more than IE 2.
On the other side, the upcoming Chronostone game have a lot of potential for be my next most favourite game in the serie since the Miximax feature sound really interesting (you can kinda "fuse" the characters!!! And the game have hundreads of characters, meaning a TON of combination to mess with!!! In terms of gameplay I doubt it will be revolutionary as feature, but the concept itself is too awesome for ignore it XD).
I'd have to say Inazuma Eleven 2. I was super pumped when I heard it coming to Europe and played it immediately. I wish NOA would acknowledge Inazuma Eleven more; Europe getting the second GO game makes me jelly.
I have received my copy of the first Inazuma Eleven today. First impression was quite positive, definitely gonna play it one day (as of now I am involved with Wind Waker HD - great game btw , and have too many games to play before it)
