if you own them already, no, even at 15$, it's not worth it. Games are meant to be played, so just unwrapped them and play your physical copy. That is all...
You sir do not understand the purpose of Limited Editions. They're already worth 50% more than what he paid for 11 months ago. If he keeps them sealed, in a year he could probably sell them for almost double. Even if he spends more to get the digital versions, he could still make a profit so long as the Digital versions are on sale and he keeps the LE in perfect condition.
@CanisWolfred I totally understand them....THOUGH if it was to make pure profit, he would not only have 1 copy but multiple ones. If you plan to only buy 1 copy of a game to one day sell it, it kinda defeats the purpose since your profit will not be optimal. As such, if I only buy 1 copy of a limited edition, it's to own, see and enjoy the actual content inside of it. I will still say open it, and enjoy your games.
People do that a lot, but it's generally frowned upon since it's pretty much just hoarding. Having one or two for the sake of profit is somehow considered okay, though. It's all kinda stupid when you think about it, but seriously, a Limited Editions only purpose is to create scarcity and therefore up the resale value, which actually ends up working to the advantage of both the original company and the end user who buys the LE day one. It only hurts those who miss out.
So, @mimi85, if you don't care about the little mini-arranged-soundtrack it has (I think I actually found the arrangements to be not as good as the actual in-game music...), nor the little artbook (which was kinda neat), and don't think you'd ever want to be permanently rid of the game (hopefully you won't, it's a good game), while also having $15 to burn and enough space that wouldn't be better used for something else, I'd actually say go for it. I know I've been tempted several times, but I never have the money nor space for it.

I've become a game hoarder. I have 30 physical games for the Wii U and then about 15 for my 3ds. Probably only play about 10 on a regular basis. I've got two that I haven't even opened- FIFA and Darksiders. Granted, I got a lot of these games for 50 percent off or even more (only paid $12 for FIFA).
I don't know how many times I have to tell people this but dl the demos. Its the first part of the games and if you like them all the data transfers over to the main game.
And yes they're both worth way more then that price. I got 140 hours into EOIV!

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.

Are demo versions typically left on eShop or are they deleted?
I bought EO4 at launch but never got around to playing it yet.
I played the demo of EOMG but never got to the full version I purchased. It's also an LE but at some point I'm going to play them. Helpful to the OP.
The demo of EOMG would let you play through the start of the third floor of the main dungeon, and level to party to 10 (I hear 70 is the limit in the full game). I recall spending like six hours or so on that.
