I used to have Starfox 3D on my old 3DS from Nintendo Club last (or two?) year promo. Sadly my 3DS was stolen just after I completed two stages. That time, 3DSes didn't have NNID yet. I can see the game on my registered products and the survey was filled by me.
Now I have this 3DS XL, with its own NNID, but tied to same Nintendo Club Account.
I want to have that nice game again since Club Nintendo offered the same game as their reward. What happen when I redeemed that game on my 3DS XL?
Would the system accept it or not? Would I still got the surveys (Wait, do they still have surveys)?
Please don't say that graphic in games are not important. It hurts me as a game graphic artist.

You can register more than one copy of the same game on one Club Nintendo account (same for consoles) in my experience. No reason it shouldn't work. I bought two copies of Fantasy Life so my family could play together. Probably should buy a third.
You can't register more than 1 copy of a game on Club Nintendo, however if your current 3DS doesn't have Star Fox 64 purchased on it then it will accept a download code for it. Club Nintendo and NNID are separate in that regard.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
You can still register games, so I think the possibility is there.
