Topic: What 3DS games are you asking for for Christmas?

Christmas isn't far away at all, and while not everyone celebrates it, it's safe to assume that the majority (or at least a large chunk of you) do celebrate it to some degree. I want some 3DS games, but I'm not sure which ones to ask for yet. I love platformers and as of right now I only have 3D Land, MK7, Super Street Fighter IV 3D, and NSMB2. What do you guys think I should ask for?

Just Zelda.

Also, you should ask for an eShop card...since last I checked, the only good platformers you don't have are on the eShop.

Or you could branch out and get Zelda.

If you did not play the Wii version then snag it if you like platformers, it is very challenging.

Have you played Gunman Clive? Is good and is really cheap to buy. Anyway, my list:

As for what games I am asking for, none on the 3DS.

I'm asking for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Only reason I didn't get it at launch was because Christmas was so close.
And it's not a game, but I'm also asking for a 2DS so I can finally play multiplayer games with my little sister!

I asked for Zelda: ALBW, and although my mother said that she'd get it, my father shut down the idea the next day, saying that "a video game isn't an appropriate gift for someone my age".

So, I'm not sure if I'll get it or not.

@RR529: I thought I read somewhere that your dad plays video games. Maybe I am mistaken but forgive me if I am not, but how old is he if he thinks that someone your age shouldn't be getting games?

@Tasuki, yes, he does play his MLB the Show game that my brother & I bought for him a few years ago.

From his point of view though, I don't need anymore games since I already have a few (SM3DL, OoT3D, TotA, etc.). From his viewpoint, since that one game has satisfied him for about three years now, why in the world is the collection of games I already have not enough?

Why he worded it the way he did (with games being "inappropriate" for someone my age) I don't know. Unless he was referring to Nintendo or fantasy games specifically (after all, when I used to play FFX, he called it "Final F*gasy").

@RR529: Wow, I totally feel sorry for you man. The only thing I can suggest is maybe trade in a few of your games since he thinks you have enough games already.

I've asked for ALBW, naturally, as well as Professor Layton and the miracle mask and zero escape: virtues last reward. I don't have any ideas on platformers for the 3ds outside of the e-shop, DS games, or DKCR.
